I use this as a scarecrow holder to keep hawks out of my backyard to keep my cat safe. The item is sturdy, works great and is easy to move around.

The screw does not hold the pole and tight no matter how you long you turn the screw. The first storm soften the ground that it tilted and snapped off the smaller metal peg holding it in the ground on one side. Disappointed that it broke that easily!

Ordered these in February - FINALLY got to install as we finished our landscaping. Great customer service, and perfect product! Sturdy metal spikes for going into grass (and a second, plastic spike if wanted for sand) and so discreet. No large umbrella stands. Exactly what i was looking for. Comes in an carrying sack to take to the beach too, though we are simply using it on our lawn by the pool.

Check the size. My umbrella pole is not thick It's standard size outdoor umbrella from Lowe's. So I didn't think It wouldn't fit. Very disappointed.
