This HoneySew bias tape maker kit is fantastic! It comes with all five sizes, and the extras included are really appreciated — you can never have enough of them. The pins aren’t very sharp, so they don’t work perfectly, but it doesn’t really matter. Overall, a very useful set for any level of sewing, and the price is fair for what you get!

Getting the fabric to feed when you first put it into the device is the hardest part. I found cutting the end into a point (with the point at the very center) made it feed so much easier. The closure on the plastic box they came in broke the third time i opened it, and i have busted out a corner of it knocking it off the ironing table. I have not used the bias foot as I already owned one, the measuring tape was cheep plastic. The tools themselves are well made and look like they will last a long time. I have been really happy with the purchase. I would recommend some good instructions for a beginning sewer, as my kit didn't include instructions at all.

This is a great little kit mine came with the case broken unfortunately. I like that you can keep everything in one place but the sizes aren't really necessary. I actually only use two out of the four that are given but I wasn't sure what I needed so it was great as a starter set. The plastic case that it comes in does not stay closed which was a bummer but at least I know that everything is all in the same place. There's a separate area for a few cheap pins which is unnecessary but they needed to fill out the case I guess. The bias tape makers themselves work well with an iron and get the job done. They save me a ton of money on buying my own bias tape and trying to find the right color to match my project. It's definitely the fastest way to make your own bias tape but you have to be very careful how wide you cut the strips of fabric. If you're just a little bit off and it's too big or too small, it will not create the bias tape you're looking for and it winds up being a big wasted mess So make sure you measure carefully. they're also not marked so you have to look up exactly how wide the fabric needs to be in order to fit exactly into the gadgets to create the bias tape. Once I got that right though, I kept a piece of each one with the tool so that I know how wide I need to cut the next time I want to make mine. Overall, it saves me a ton of money but it is time consuming. If you need an exact color or pattern of bias tape to match your project, I can't think of a better alternative.

This was a great set of bias tape makers. They work great and it's so nice to be able to make trim that matches the outfits I'm making! It has every size and they are made of sturdy metal, not cheap or flimsy.

The sizes were exactly as described and of good quality.

Great little case with a soft interior. Each item fits into its space to keep things neat. The makers are sturdy. Only one of them has a sharp edge. Clear nail polish will cover that edge. The clips are small, but enough to attach to the end of the fabric to pull through. An awl is included, pins and a sewing machine foot! Fantastic set for the price!! and well made. Very pleased with my purchase! You can find many tutorials on making bias tape on Youtube or any quilter's channel. You will feed a small strip of fabric into the large end of the maker - push it thru with the awl - have your iron ready to press the tape as it is folded and comes out the small end - Don't touch the metal maker or it will become HOT - Press and hold the fabric with the iron and pull the maker with your left hand until you have run out of fabric and you have a pressed length of bias tape. The bias tools will be fine. I'm not so sure about using the foot to attach bias tape - homemade or purchased - to a garment or other item. I think with practice it will work, but feeding the tape and keeping the fabric aligned in the slot on the foot is tricky. Of course, there are no directions with the kit. There are You Tube videos online to help.

These have worked well. Even for thicker fabric (500D and 1000D - even laminated fabric) and I like how it comes with many sizes. Its a great set of tools if you're a home sewer, but not so much if you're buying this for high volume sewing.

This is a tool kit you will be grateful you bought. It came as advertised. I have been able to make bias tapes of different materials with this. Haven't used the foot attachment yet so I can't comment on that.
