Nice and sticky. No problem plugging a hole.

They look nice and sticky, I haven’t had to use one yet but they look rough and heavy duty. It says self adhering but I’d add some vulcanizing agent just to be safe. I bought these for an addition to my roadside emergency kits. I’d say they’re well priced and they come packaged in stacks with films separating each layer. They don’t come in an airtight container which surprised me but then again I doubt it has an impact on the rope’s utility.

I bought these tire plugs because I've had a run of bad luck with nails lately. The kit came with a good number of plugs and a sturdy insertion tool. The plugs themselves feel high-quality; they're thick, pliable, and they have that satisfyingly tacky feel you want in a good tire repair kit. I've already used them on two different tires, and they've held up perfectly. They seal the puncture quickly and securely, and I haven't had any air loss since. It's incredibly satisfying to pull a nail out of your tire and then get it sealed up in a few minutes, avoiding a costly trip to the tire shop. The reason for the four stars, however, is the sheer messiness of the process. The "self-vulcanizing" material is great, but it gets everywhere. By the time I'm done, I look like I've been finger-painting with some kind of brown tar. My hands, the tools, and a good portion of the tire are covered in the sticky substance. It's a small price to pay for saving a tire, but it definitely makes the job less than pleasant. It's a great product that gets the job done, but just be prepared to spend some extra time cleaning up afterward.
