Dexter: The Complete Series + Dexter: New Blood

My brother recommended the show. I got it for a good price & really like it. I need to get resurrection now to complete it. Well worth what I paid for it.

Haven't gone through all the discs. So far seems fine. I will update if need be. I have already seen both shows and loved each. Love the Dexter franchise and wanted to have a hard copy so I dont have to rely on streaming. If internet goes down, or the grid, I have entertainment during the inevitable apocalypse (lol?) It takes very little to power up a dvd player and tv using a power bank. Over the past few years I've been buying DVDs of series I really like, ones I could watch over and over. Again, streaming services are often switching things around, internet may not be relied on, and if the economy gets as terrible as it has been in 2025, I expect it to only get unfathomably bad and just want some sure-fire cheap entertainment at home if I ditch unessential stuff. I know DVDS are so old school at this point, but it's worth having a collection to fall back on. I'm currently done with adding to my collection, but I plan to buy Original Sin (and the other one that is in the works) when the time comes.

Great series

I hesitated to watch this show previously. I had mixed feelings about what I had heard he was but after everyone I knew suggested watching it I went ahead an bought this. The first episode started out in such a way that I wasn't sure I was going to like it. By the time that episode was over I couldn't stop watching it. I binge watched the entire 8 seasons in a couple of weeks. I have since bought every prequel and sequel they have released. And can't wait for the next one. If you haven't seen it, give the first episode or 2 a chance. If you have watched this but don't own this set, the Blu-ray quality is quite good. I didn't love the packaging for this set as all of the plastic trays tend to break but mine arrived undamaged so I'll call it good.

This was purchased as a Christmas gift. The person who received the gift was very satisfied.

I recently binge watched the whole series on Netflix, and given New Blood wasn't on there and I was going to have to buy that season anyways, I figured I'd just buy this box set given its good price. I haven't gone through all of the discs, but I did pick a few out at random to get an overall gauge of the quality, and I can say it holds up very well; even the early seasons are not overly grainy and are quite good-looking. Audio quality is also good, nothing super crazy but about what you would expect from a standard blu ray disc. This series is easily already one of my favorite shows with the First season especially being a very enjoyable watch. Where this product in particular loses a Star is simply due to the packaging, The show is a 5 star show in my opinion, but the plastic holding the discs is cheap and is chipping away already from just pulling the discs out for the first time. The discs are also stacked on-top of each other in a pretty inconvientent way that would make binge watching a bit annoying. All things considered, for what is more than 100 hours of good TV I can say its still a good purchase even with the poor packaging in mind, well worth the money if you are someone who likes to keep physical media.

Great series. Never seen it from start to finish. I bought this series awhile ago but didn’t realize it was Blue Ray. Got a Blue Ray for Christmas, so now I can give my review. One CD skipped here and there. The New Blood series is really messed up. First CD couldn’t watch at all, on the second one it’s skipping like crazy. I cleaned them and now they are working good. So check for finger prints.

Everything seems to be good. Disks all look good.

Amazing show. And it's great to have all of the regular series + the New Blood follow up in the same set. Discs play without any issues too. Though I would say the design of the box could have been a little better as it is one of those ones where the discs are difficult to remove.

Excellent, engaging tv keeps you watching. I just started the second series.
