The listing says it is for a jeep series but it is really a GM parts kit for square body chevy's. It saved me a lot of money buying separate bearings and parts. I recommend this for any one repairing a GM column.

I have an older GM tilt column in my restomod. This column is most likely a late sixties to seventies vintage. The parts fit it very well and the quality appears to be excellent, but the bearings are a little bit thicker. One modification was required to assemble the column. The Heavy spring that sits between the bearing retainer and the horn cup had to be shortened about 1/8 inch by grinding the bottom side.

Was about to drop either $1,200 on a new column or send my core out to get rebuilt for $600 with shipping. After rolling the dice on this 20 something dollar set up, it fits perfectly. The 2 upper bearings are an absolute exact match. You need to save and reuse the old inner races, but the new bearings, cage and outer race are spot on and fit as O.E.. Good luck

Great fit for a tilt column

My truck had a hard time starting due to the spring being too old and loose, replaced it with this kit and fixed the issue

I have used these several times on GM/ Saginaw steering columns. This particular one is a higher quality than others I have used. I definitely recommend if you’re tearing it to your steering column.
