Great Coax. Works great.
This is great coax. I like it a lot. What I was a little miffed about, was that the delivery needed a signature before USPS would leave it. I was not informed of this or I would have been home to sign. I know that this does not seem like a big deal, but it was an inconvenience none the less. Just be aware of that. Coax wise, it is awesome. I purchased 50 feet, so I could add it to the other 50 foot coax I have, if I needed a longer run. I run low power so every db counts.

I'd use MPD Digital cables without hesitation, even for mission-critical, life-saving systems.
I installed and maintained communications gear in the USCG, and although we knew who made the "good" stuff, but we couldn't usually order specific brands. A lot can change over time, so when I started building my amateur station I asked fellow ARES members whose products they like -and Trust!- for various uses. Several of the more experienced guys gave MPD Digital products a STRONG recommendation, especially for high-reliability uses like in Go Kits and portable emergency stations. After comparing MPD Digital to some less-expensive cables, the differences in materials and manufacturing quality were pretty obvious, with MPD winning on all counts. MPD used genuine Times Microwave Systems (TMS) LMR-400UF cable, and High-Quality PL-259 connectors with Teflon insulators and *perfectly* soldered center conductors. And the cable is manufactured in the USA near Albany, GA. This little beauty connects my portable, emergency comms station's IC-7100 to an LDG AT-100Pro II antenna tuner. I have no doubt it will exceed my expectations like my other MPD cables have, and continue to perform for a very long time. If not, I'll update this review. Here's the take-away: If I were still responsible for ensuring that the mission-critical military gear we used literally to save human lives was always ready, I would install MPD Digital cables without hesitation. And that is about the highest recommendation I can give.

great but...
it is definatly more flexible than LMR 400, but Ultra.... Probably not how I would describe it. However, this cable, while stiffer than I'd like, performs very well. Photo shows the cable in use from the passthrough window panel to the Kenwood TK880 at our GMRS workstation.

Good Quality
Really well made and works well as an antenna feed line for my HF radio.

Superior cables that gave me superior results.
Superior cabling with low loss. I used this cable and others from them on my bench setup for testing Marine VHF radios. Prior to using theirs, my readings were off because of all of the losses incurred by using cheaper, but less quality cables on the bench. Using their cables, I was able to measure 27 watts forward power with 1/4 watt reflected power under a dummy load. Using other cheaper, but less quality cables, I measured only 16 watts forward power, and almost 10 watts reflected from the very same radio with the same dummy load. The only difference in these drastic readings was the cabling.

Great Short Cable for a Patch Panel
I bought this short cable to be used as a patch panel cable to connect antennas to amateur radios in a flexible manner. This 2' cable can interconnect all appearances on the patch panel without crimping the coax anywhere. It was bought because of (1) PL259 connectors on each end, (2) the 2 foot length, and (3) the low loss of LMR400 cable. It appears to be well made and has been tested on the patch panel. An actual load on the cable has not occurred yet, but success is anticipated.
