This product actually works. Super easy to install. Peel the sticky pad and apply to the magnet (or use the super glue that is included) then attach to the cabinet. Cabinets open and close and stay closed. The magnets stay attached to the cabinets and don't pull off. Super slim yet strong. I tried several other brands and was about to give up before I bought these. You won't have any hassle with this product like I had trying other brands: Problems screwing in the magnets or dealing with impossible to peel sticky pads that ruin before you can even use them or magnets that aren't flush with the cabinets once you screw them in so they don't work or magnets that are slim but too big and unattractive for kitchen cabinets. Just go ahead and buy these and avoid all the hassles. I am super happy and I will buy another set to use in the bathroom.

I have a drawer in my kitchen that always slides back open after I close it. It drives me crazy! I got the idea to try magnets to keep it closed. They work like a charm. The drawer stays closed perfectly. The only reason for the 4 stars rather than 5 is that the instructions are confusing. The magnets are peel & stick but a small tube of adhesive came with them. I guess in case the magnets come loose I could re-glue them. But I felt this was unnecessary and I delayed using the magnets while I tried to figure out what the glue was for. I finally decided to peel & stick them and not worry about the glue. Other than that they exceeded my expectations.

I bought this product to keep my daughter’s cats out of my cabinets. First, everything came in one little bag, so all the pieces are stuck together. That means that the little button battery looking thing is actually a magnet seated inside what it supposed to be the screw-in plate. Good luck getting those apart. We ended up having one person hold the edges of the outer piece with their fingernails while the other person pushed a screwdriver through the hole. We were unable to get some of the magnets apart at all, so we ended up having to use the adhesive dots. There are only enough for one per piece and the red backing is near impossible to peel off. If you touch the adhesive or if while taking the backing off it peels the adhesive off the magnet, it will never stick to anything again, so don’t make mistakes. I ended up not being able to use several of them because I couldn’t get them out of the screw-in plate and I had no more usable adhesive dots. Now the few that ended up installed, seem to be pretty decent. The magnetism seems strong enough to deter the cats yet not too annoying for the humans. The problems I had could have been solved by shipping the magnets in a separate bag than the backs and by including some extra adhesive dots. All in all, they seem to do the job where I used them, but were a much bigger hassle than they needed to be and I was unable to use all the purchased pieces. I would not buy this product again.

Perfect for my nightstand which did not close. Now it works perfectly and stays in place. Easy to install and very discreet.

This is revised per my attempted usage - which was NOT favorable. My original review was upon receipt where I expected eight PAIRS and only received 8 pieces - and you need two per to make magnets work. Now I've tried to use these and failed - don't hold, too thick, adhesive is weak - and purchased two separate orders for Jiayi 12 Pack Ultra Thin Cabinet Door Magnet @ $10-12 per order of 12 PAIRS. These are rectangular, thin and CATCH like you want magnets to do. Per my experience I could not recommend the Mousike round units - but the Jiayi work fine. -------------------- (Original) Be advised - the 8 pack is eight pieces, NOT sets. I mistakenly assumed the item count was per sets - since you need use two at a time to work - and they are not. Also, they are much smaller in size than I imagined looking at the descriptive pictures. I needed 8 sets, so - if they work - I will need to reorder this or a competitor.

Powerful magnets. I followed the instructions exactly, but the magnet was so powerful that it wound up pulling the strike plate off its adhesive. I wound up using a cyanoacrylate (crazy glue) to attach the both the strike plate and the magnet to the cabinet frame and drawer respectively. This has worked great. So nice to have a drawer that stays shut rather than opening periodically by itself. Overall very pleased!

As others have said, the red protective film is a bit difficult to get off, but that's not unusual for anything that uses this method of protecting the glue part; if you read other reviews or have done it before, you'll have no problem. I'd been fighting a continuing battle with my dryer door when I bent over the washer to get the damp laundry to put up into the dryer--it would slowly swing shut and be in just the correct place to crack my head as I stood up. I'd get in a rhythm of pushing the dryer door back with the side of my head before bending over to get more laundry and it would be in just the right place on its return swing for me to do that again. Very annoying but better than coming up slowly, wondering where the door was, and still sometimes having the top of my head and the base of the dryer door meet. The washer/dryer is in what was a coat closet, with doors that close when the unit is not in use. I didn't want to put a shim under the base of the unit. I put one side of the magnetic dot on the handle of the dryer door and the other side on the inside of the right-hand closet door. These dots have been on for a week, now, are firmly in place, and it takes just a small tug to "unlatch" the dryer door from the closet door. I love these dots!
