I broke the jumper cable that made a connection between the service box inside my house to the ONT or the box that converts the optical fiber to ethernet. Since this cable was cheap and I saw it had the correct connection ends, and other things that matched what was stamped on my broke cable, I decided to give it a try. I really know nothing about fiber optic cable. It worked! I was able to cancel my service call. So I wanted people to know it works for Metronet service and not just what was in the product description. Also, when clicking the ends of the cable into the boxes be aware it is directional (a slot on one side). I did not catch this at first and thought the cable wasn't working for me. If it's hard to push in, take a closer look! You might be putting it in upside down!

The 30 ft. fiber optic cable was just the right length I needed to relocate my internet & TV modem from the basement to upstairs. The cable came with an adaptor so I was easily able to splice together my internet providers fiber optic cable with the new 30 ft. fiber optic cable I purchssed. Works great!

Bought one and loved it so much, I bought two more. These are excellent quality, packaged well and works amazingly. The price is right. Ran it straight from outside fiber box to network closet and getting speeds exceeding my 2Gps plan package. I can't recommend these enough!
