The reason I bought this bar was as a replacement to one I have had for years. The old one was fantastic, but the collars that are supposed to hold the weights from sliding to far on the bar began to slide in from repeatedly slamming weights against them. (Probably my fault) The collars eventually slid in so far that the bar could no longer fit on my bench, as the weight plates were too far in, and would hit the posts that hold the bar. Anyways, I was so excited to get this bar. The first thing I noticed when I got it is that the collars look like they were glued on by an elementary school student. I suspect the same problem would happen within a week. Despite this, I still wanted to try out my new bar. I put the weights on, and then went to put the clips on… The bar is too small. The clips slide freely and don’t hold the weight on the bar whatsoever. Very disappointed. Will be sending back.

Overall, the bar is okay. The package was really beat up and somehow the bar was slightly wrapped upon arrival. The knarling when it starts and stops is uneven when comparing both sides. Wish the bar was in perfect condition like I expected when ordering but its a bar, which are hard to come by these days. I wish Amazon would sent another since its wraped but it is what it is!

I'm using the bar with IronMaster 1 inch plates and they fit perfectly. I have some Synergee 1 inch plates that are a little loose on it but I just put some electrical tape on the bar to beef it up a bit so they fit. Nice simple shipping packaging

Great weight bar (awful seller but great product)

Very dishonest on shipping time, it showed up way later than agreed upon when I paid for it. It was either bent when it arrived, or it bent when I tried it out with a light load after taking it out of the package. Garbage bar, it's worse than the cheapy I was replacing.
