I used this inlet box to wire up a CNC machine, and it’s worked out really well. The enclosure has plenty of room inside, which made routing and terminating the wires much easier than I expected. Nothing felt cramped, and the removable front panel was a big help during install. The build quality feels solid and confidence-inspiring, especially for something that’s going to be supplying power to equipment like a CNC. The weatherproof cover seals nicely, and the LED indicator is a simple but useful feature to quickly confirm power is present. It feels like it was designed with real-world use in mind, not just the bare minimum to pass. Honestly, I didn't expect much because of the price, but this actually feels super premium. Overall, it did exactly what I needed it to do without any fuss. If you’re setting up shop equipment or a CNC and want a clean, sturdy inlet solution, this one gets the job done.

What can I say -- buying cheapo electrical fixtures is a good way to burn your house down, but this isn't some cheapo crapbox, this is actually a really nice, solid, large, ETL-listed box! Most Americans know about UL listing, but there are many other nationally recognized testing labs, and ETL is one of them. It means if you install it properly and it's not defective, it won't burn your house down. Can't say that for a lot of things that are sold online, especially when looking at things like solar disconnects, there's some real firetrap crap out there, but this is a very nice box. It's plenty spacious; wrangling 6ga wires in one of those little undersized boxes can be a real problem, but this one provides enough space for the wires to bend properly and not be cramped. The cutouts are very nice, they're not knockouts and they're especially not the fake knockouts some cheap stuff comes with, they're actually pre-drilled holes that will easily accept a 3/4" conduit. It's a good box, it's an incredible box for the price. Is it the perfect box? Of course not, I mean, ideally the inlet would be on the bottom so that the cable snugs up into a weather-protected area. And if your cable doesn't have a locking ring on it, the connection may not be as firm as you'd want, but if your cable does have that locking ring on it and threads onto the box, it's a great tight connection.

This product makes it possible to feed a generator into your homes breaker panel in a safe way. You'll need this an a breaker interlock kit that locks the main breaker out in order to connect the generator circuit to the panel. This makes for an easy, safe, and code compliant installation for your generator for those power outages. The season is coming... be prepared. As an electrical contractor, we install these regularly. We've used lots of different brands and models and this is the go-to for our company. Built to last, high quality materials and will potentially last a lifetime. Great value.

Easy to install. Make sure to have this box offset off the wall just a tad. The plug cover wraps around the back of the box. Other than that. Great product for the price.
