Best Hot Plate Iโve Used, Great for Small Spaces!
Iโve been using this Ovente double burner since December 2022 after trying out two other brands, and this is hands down the best one yet. It heats up fast, cooks evenly, and is perfect for my small space, itโs been a real lifesaver. Cleaning it is super easy, which I really appreciate. Over time, it may lose a bit of its functionality (one of my burners now stays on even after I turn it off, so I just make sure to unplug it after every use). Not a big deal for me, but something to note. Also, use small-medium sized pots or pans for even cooking. All in all, itโs reliable, simple to use, and worth every penny. Iโd recommend it to anyone who needs an extra cooking surface or lives in a small apartment. Great investment, highly recommend!

Stove
Great two-burner stove. Heats up quickly, easy to use, and doesnโt take up much spaceโperfect for small kitchens or outdoor use. It feels sturdy and works very well. Excellent value for the price. Highly recommended

it does the job
this hot plate works well and maintains good temperature control for cooking. itโs compact and wipes clean easily. the only con is the unit base gets really hot to the touch while using it so use with caution and it stays hot for a long time after itโs been turned off. let it cool down for a while before putting it away

Pretty good, IMO one of the best options right now.
I've tried a lot. Like A LOT of hot plates. As someone living without a kitchen and loves to cook, it has been a STRUGGLE. Now originally, I took everyone's advice online. "You should use an induction cooktop!" but no. Absolutely not. I've tried two different models of induction, and all of them suck. They're loud, small coil diameter, and don't heat up your pan evenly. Plus, you can't really toss foods in the pan since they auto turn off. Induction rant aside, this is pretty much one of the best options that you have for a single burner IMO. It has enough power to be able to boil water/pasta in an acceptable amount of time (with the lid on it was like 5 minutes for me). It's also pretty easy to clean, and the base of the hotplate stays cool while in use (I do recommend using a cutting board/mat underneath it though). Truthfully, I'm not too big of a fan of the super sleek full glass design. It looks nice, yes, but your pan absolutely slips and slides, so I'd use handled pots whenever using this cooktop. The very top layer of glass has also started to chip I think? Not really chip, but rub away. It's either that, or burn scars like any infrared cooktop. Regardless. Price-to-effectiveness ratio, this is literally one of the best options on the market. I haven't tried the double burner option, only the 1200W, but I think it's worth it. Ngl, temperature control is a bit iffy though. Not exactly fine tuned.

This little burner is amazing!
This single burner works as well, if not better, than some of the stovetop burners I have used over the years. It heats up very quickly and, though it cycles off and on (just like glasstop stove burners do), it still maintains the necessary level of heat to cook your food. I have fixed everything from stews, noodles, hamburgers, french fries and grilled cheese sandwiches - and the burner did an excellent job on all of them. The only word of caution I have is that the surface of it is a little slick and some pans may slide off it if accidentally bumped. The burner works great and was exactly what I was looking for.

Decent for its price range but deficient when it comes to dependability
The Ovente countertop burner with ceramic glass is an excellent addition to any kitchen, surely. It heats up very fast, and very hot provides an easy-to-use device that does not take much to place & start using and eventually gives excellent cooking results as soon as you get used to it. However, that's only in the first couple of months of using the product. I bought it because I wanted an alternative to cook things that didn't use gas. This way I could prepare foods such as omelets, fried & boiled eggs, sausages, etc. that didn't take much time and still receive a great result. But after two months of getting a more-than-decent experience, the burner started to have a few problems. Firstly, the burner started to lose the indication numbers for heat level. This started happening in the first month, without the numbers it started to become a little difficult to know what was the heat level, until I got accustomed and made the indications myself with a permanent colored marker. It was a bit problematic, but nothing out of the ordinary. Secondly, the burner turned on and off while heating. It was a sort of heat protection (I think) that keeps the device from overheating. The problem with this is that the first three levels of heating didn't work when the device sensed overheating. Really I couldn't say what that was, but it happened every time I used the burner for more than 5 minutes. It eventually got annoying to hear the burner go on and off, and a little frustrating I could use the first three levels. However, of course, I could live with this. Thirdly, the ceramic glass on the large side fell off after two months of use. I bought this burner in July and started using it in August. By October, the ceramic glass on the large side of the burner fell off. I don't know how it was attached to the device, but the glass separated from the metal and was sliding off from its place every time I had to place/move the device. I tried gluing it to the device again with temperature-resistant glue, but it fell off two weeks later once again. So it left it like that. Until yesterday. Yesterday while cleaning the device, I turned it 90ยบ by mistake, and the ceramic glass fell to the floor. Here, you can imagine what happened later. A bunch of broken glass I had to swipe off, and an almost useless large burner on the device that I don't know how to fix. So, I could say this device works well when it comes to performance. It may become a little problematic after a month or two, but nothing that would really damage your cooking. However, it is not as dependable or resistant as you would hope. I used it almost every day, so it is easy to say that I might have overused it. However, of course, that's not an excuse for a product that should have lasted more, or at least not give that many problems in such a short period. I give it three stars because it performs well, but it loses two because it could be a little more durable & reliable. Overall, however, it is a great option for the price, as long as you are going to use the device every now and then, and still being aware that after a few hundred uses it could start presenting a few issues.
