This booked helped me twice over the past 20 years and i found rewarding change in jobs/career. This was a purchase for friend in a job hunting situation, hoping to help them, which I know it will.

I bought this book in my 30s and loved it but not so keen in my 50s Still useful for young career changers

This book is updated yearly, and although a bit focused on USA, it was really helpful. Not just to find any work but really to know you are heading to a dream job. Really summed up so well the mistakes job hunters make. It’s a long read , and it’s work to complete. However, I thoroughly recommend it. I got the first job I applied for after following its guide.

I have bought this over the years for friends who find themselves out of work. I first used this book 30 years ago and at the end of it it gave me a good idea of what type of job I should have. It gave an indication of public/private sector. The weekend after i fifnished it I saw a job at a university - when for it and got it. My daughter is now going through the book and enjoying it and hopefully will also find her ideal position.

Bought this for my grandson , lets hope he learns a lot from it.

This book serves a wide audience. I feel its best use it to leverage some of the advices shared with the reader as fit.

This was recommended when exploring my next career. It took time to go through the exercises but found it super helpful and enlightening. If you’re considering a career change or even just wanting to explore other options that might be a good fit for you, read this book and do all the exercises. It gives you a lot to reflect on!

Questa guida è una pietra miliare dell'orientamento professionale, è in inglese, ma si trova anche la versione aggiornata in italiano. Un regalo perfetto per chi si addentra nel mondo del lavoro... E uno strumento ottimo per chi ci lavora come me!

Livro ABSURDO de bom! Inglês de fácil leitura.

A best seller for decades. I buy copies to give to friends and acquaintances looking for a first job or to switch. The title is stupid and doesn't reflect the brilliance of the contents. Don't judge a book by its title.
