I was a bit unsure about buying this, but these sheep shears worked well and dagged 200 sheep with no problems, so good value. On cleaning up afterwards I noticed that 2 of the end teeth of the comb had about 3mm chipped off although they had still been cutting OK. I don't know how this happened, (possibly mishandling) but I purchased a set of 'universal' replacement blades from Amazon which fitted fine, although not yet used.

Good value clippers. I had a clipper that cost six times as much as this one. Cattle clipping when one knocked it out of my hand and smashed it when only 6 months old . Bought this as a replacement and it’s done a hundred cattle already and still going strong ,I won’t spend money on an expensive set again,when this one packs up I’ll buy another.

Not too bad, bought them as a stopgap due to needing replacement shears and needing to shear sheep. the unit is rather heavy and cumbersome, not very ergonomic for the hand to grip with and vibrates rather harshly. Blades are not the best, managed to shear 3 sheep before blades started to dull and it became a bit of a struggle to finish the rest. ( and that was including oiling blades, making sure to rest between sheep and using a cooling spray. Still they got the job done and I'll be tracking some blades down and keep the drago for backup incase my masterclip packs in again.

These clippers stalled every time we tried to trim the sheep wool. I would have sent them back as I wasted £80 on them. Not fit for purpose. And definitely not what they were advertised as being used for. Blades were rubbish. The unit was heavy and difficult to hold. We brought them to dag 3 sheep.

Have only a half dozen sheep to be shorn. Too many for a non expert to remove the fleeces with a hand shears so we got this. It works great. Use plenty of oil to keep lubricated. It did the job well despite the inexperienced operator.

Decent enough, only used it once so far, seems quieter and less of a brick than some of the cheaper ones

I bought these to groom my dog who is a poodle mix and needs to be shaved in the summer. They work like a dream. They glide through his thick hair like butter. Have been super reliable too.
