Worked great. I actually bought this to use with the OF1010. While the holes didn’t line up, a little bit of ingenuity along with the track worked out just fine and the results were as expected if I had used it with the OF1400.

outstanding product! Installation on the router is straight-forward, adjustment and accuracy are excellent. Easy to use with one hand guiding the router and the other keeping slight pressure on the guide knob. First use was making 28" long tenons in the end of a hard maple workbench that I built which was incredibly easy with this guide and the Festool router. Like the other Festool products that i own, this guide is very well engineered and easy to use

Worked great like most things Festool. A little pricey but I think it paid for itself in one set of cabinet shelves. The usual Festool quality instructions too (that sentence should have the sarcasm font). Festool users will recognize that you either get it when you first see it or from the pictures OR you go to YouTube and find someone who's kindly taken the time to post adequate instructions. After a while you get used to it and realize they do great tools and poor instructions. Perhaps they'll figure that part out soon.

We got this for running dados with our Festool 1400 router. Used it on this liquor display cabinet for a client, and it did great. Kept our dados precise. I’d highly recommend! Easy to setup and use.

This accessory is helpful and makes routing along the guide really easy. It's important to really check over the adapter to make sure you've tightened everything and have everything adjust perfectly before starting. Some of these Festool accessories make things so easy that you start working too fast. This is a good problem to have, but there have been a few times I have screwed up something because I wasn't as methodical as I should have been.

First thing.. make sure this is the right accessory for your router. There are multiple rail guides for different Festool routers. This is specifically for the 1400 model. What to say about this.. if you want to make easy accurate straight routing channels and you don't have a router table OR you need to make a channel far into your material, this accessory is worth twice the price (yes, even for Festool). I've used used on several occasions so for joining larger panels together and have been very happy. I also was able to inlay a hard wood piece into my cutting area on my DIY multi function work bench. I did have to look up how to use it on youtube (which I highly recommend). It wasn't intuitive to me so that helped. Very happy over all and a great little addition to my OF 1400 and guide rail system.

The item itself is great - it’s Festool so it’s perfect. But, also because it’s Festool it’s expensive. So I’m a bit frustrated that the item I purchased arrived clearly used. Again, the item will work but paying this much for an item that arrives with scuff marks and dings is frustrating. 5/5 for the item. 0/5 for the seller.

So these work well. We don’t really have other options like we do with dewalt clamps for the track saw.... They absolutely could be better, especially running the FT 1400 router. In one of my photos I’m pointing to the slot that can be used to it attach multiple tracks together as well as be used on the festool table. I’m not sure why these guide stope don’t have a section that slides in the slot to avoid rocking when plunging your bit in to your project. Yes these do include a support foot that somewhat works. Still and you plunge a heavy router like the 1400 you get some rocking. I think just a little more support would be great. Over all they do work. I’m using them to hog out material on some half lap joints. I wold buy again. I hope this was helpful.

I've found this remarkably useful. Imagine if you will that it gives you the functionality of mounting your router in a table, meaning that you can profile edges without getting wobble at either end of the work that you can get with just a side fence. Great purchase.
