So far looks like the glide I've been looking for. I'm testing out my first set for a restaurant. I tried almost all the other chair glides of this variety you can find on amazon. These have the best structural integrity I think. Other glides similar to these came apart during installation and/or broke down later. The rubber part above the main glide is thick so it seems pretty tough. They are the quietest glides I've installed. The main purpose of these is to use them on Marble. They also work on carpet and wood (they are quiet on wood). What seems to happen with the glides is they get noisier over time, in a month or so I will know if these suffer the same fate because the glides endure a lot of use at the place I work. I'll try to capture some video of the glides in action shortly. These were also the most affordable for what I was looking for.Since the product as of this writing has met all basic performance needs--easy to install, quiet gliding, easy gliding, rigid design, fast shipping, excellent pricing, multi-surface compatibility--I've awarded them five stars. I've been looking into glides for about the past four months. I'm really looking forward to moving on from my glide quest and settling with what appear to be the best. These glides are so easy to install and make the chairs just glide across my linoleum floor even when we are sitting on the chairs. The company is a great one to work with too. My original order was missing one glide and the seller contacted me and offer to refund some money or send me a new package of glides which I gladly accepted. In a couple of days my new glides arrived in the mail. Do not be afraid to try these. It is a win win situation and they really work. The chairs I installed them are oak and there was already a hole under each leg so it was very easy to nail the glides onto the legs.

Price was great and installation was easy

I have a very low pile area rug under my RH dining room chairs, and was getting frustrated because the original white plastic pads kept getting stuck in the carpet. I was hoping these would make the chairs glide effortlessly, but they don’t. However, it is a million times better than the original sliders that come with the chairs. If there was an option to give 4.5 stars I would ;)Super easy to install. The most annoying part was removing the original pads, but since there was an existing hole in each of the chair legs, it was quick work after that. I’d suggest using a rubber mallet if you have one, as I mangled a couple with my regular hammer. They will still work, but they’re a little lumpy.All in all, I’d recommend these for very thin carpet and hardwood floors. I’m going to be ordering more and replacing the pads on all of the chairs in my living and family rooms.

These kinda worked. The wood you are working with can't be too hard. You will bend the nail or break thru the rubber side.

I purchased these guides to install on the bottom of a 18" X 32" flower planter I constructed. The planter sits inside a yard cart. The cart and planter are painted and heavily coated with Minwax Helmsmen Spar Urethane., as the cart sits in our yard 24/7/365. However I wanted the planter to be raised slightly above the base of the cart for better drainage via the holes bored in the planter floor, so I purchased these guides for that purpose. They worked out perfectly. The guides are well made with quality materials. Each sharp point has a plastic cover to prevent inadvertent injury when handling. Nice thoughtful touch. The plastic base is tough and they seat easily without cracking when hammered into the wood...20 guides were used without incident, so that's a very good test. They are also an excellent value. You will not be disappointed.
