Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is another great DVD in the Harry Potter series!

I've purchased this dvd twice and both are defective! I didn't return the first one I purchased because I felt it wasn't worth the "hassel". The second dvd played fine until about half way thru and then it froze. Starting over didn't help, nor trying to go to another scene selection. I gave up! Now I'm trying to return the most recently purchased Order of the Phoenix and am having trouble doing that. I love Amazon, but this is driving me to think twice.

I enjoy these Harry Potter "Ultimate Editions" - the packaging is superb and the extras that are included make it worth the price (even if you are buying the movie again). I agree that these Ultimate Editions should be "extended editions", but I am satisfied with the finished product and I really enjoy the "creating the world of Harry Potter" documentaries. The filmmaking team did a good job of taking the longest book and still making an effective film in its own right despite the chunks of deletions, alterations, and compression of the book. Thankfully the guys at Hogwarts got rid of the long hair from the last movie, and Daniel Radcliffe now truly personifies Harry Potter. Overall, the movie is visually striking particularly the Ministry of Magic which looks fantastic. The battle scenes are awesome and entertaining, and the emergence of Harry as a leader and the teacher of "Dumbledore's Army" is superb. Read the book for the full story and enjoy the movie for its entertainment and significant translation of another J.K. Rowling masterpiece.

La edición BluRay más económica y completa que he encontrado, sin pijadas de estuches lujosos que encarecen el producto, y con todos los extras que esperaba: versiones extendidas, documentales, y unos libritos de fotos muy majos. Muy recomendable.

Best of all the Potter films.

Da ich sowohl Harry Potter-Fan, als auch PSP-Junkie bin, lag dieser Kauf nahe. Habe natürlich auch die ersten 4 Filme. Bin begeistert!

J'ai longuement hésité à commander ce Blu-ray car descriptif trop bref. Je confirme aucun pb, menu+langue (Dolby 5.1)+sous-titre en français. Une très bonne image et un son excellent. A acheter sans aucun regret. Seul bémol, la livraison semble un peu longue (environ 15j), à comparer au 48 voire 72h pour un achat sur AMAZON.

Una edición con un disco de extras que contiene bastante material más un libro con fotografías del rodaje y demás. Una muy buena opción para completar la colección de la saga.
