Amazing! Nearly exact replica! It was like going back in time!!!! Looks just like the original. Perfect gift for any collector or to introduce a younger child to vintage inspired dolls! It's really cool that with these reproduction dolls, a child has the opportunity to play with a doll from the past in New condition!!!! The price point makes it appropriate for use/play as well as collecting.

I had this doll as a child and I loved her so much. She was my favorite barbie. But she got lost during a move. I found a decent one but originals in box are so expensive. I'm so glad they made this reproduction. She is not an exact reproduction, the boa is not as full or as sparkling, her skin is not the same tan color, plus a few other little things but she is pretty close. If you loved this doll I think you will enjoy this reproduction of her.

Got this Barbie doll for my sister because she had it back in the late 70s or early 80s. She loved it! Exactly like the original. If you are on the fence, don’t be. It’s perfect.

Bill Greening did an absolute fabulous job on this 1977 Repro Superstar Barbie, she's beautiful, her face & hair are gorgeous, and the gown & boa are fab! I brought 4. I have the original superstar 1977 barbie, & the 2009 repro so it's nice to compare they all have tiny slight differences.

Words cannot describe how exciting it feels to finally own a 1977 Superstar Barbie that's fresh out of the factory~! If you were to compare her to an original 1977 doll then yes, you'd feel there are quite some differences, like perhaps her skin-tone being slightly lighter, the face-up feeling a little more modern, the hair a slightly different texture, her body having the sculpted on underwear when the original didn't... But everything just fades away when you notice how beautiful she is, truly a worthy tribute to the original~!

This doll is absolute perfection! The most beautiful face sculpt—she’s just gorgeous. She’s presented so well in her box and it displays so nicely. I received one day shipping, and although there was no protective packing (bc Amazon doesn’t do that), she was at least shipped in a box and arrived in perfect condition.

Hair and face are lovely, just like what I remember from the same doll I had as a child. Dress and boa somewhat differ from the original. Dress is not the same fabric (not better or worse, just different). Boa is not as full and sparkly as the original.

ottimo acquisto..la barbie originale del 77/78 ..ho colto l'occasione a volo di vedere l'articolo su amazon in condizioni nuove....non è facile trovarne la disponibilità in condizioni nuove..esattamente come in foto..pagata una cifra un po alta ma il valore attuale stimato dai collezionisti è nettamente superiore e aumenterà poiché fra due anni saranno 50 anni dall'uscita di questa meravigliosa e leggendaria barbie superstar..

La muñeca llegó perfectamente empaquetada. La caja vino perfecta. La muñeca es muy bonita , tiene ese aire vintage que le hace única. Será un regalo para alguién muy especial.

La muñeca es lo que esperaba, preciosa con su rostro vintage, original y en su empaque perfecto. El vendedor cuidó mucho eso pues le solicité que hasta la caja llegara perfecta pues es para colección y así lo cumplió. Lo recomiendo ampliamente, volveré a comprar con ellos.
