You have to drill holes to the fender
Slim fits well and still leaves room for Lumber and suitcases

Junk.
Like other reviews, you can’t lock this thing to the truck so if you don’t have a tonneau cover I wouldn’t get this item. Other than that it’s convenient and doesn’t take up much space. I got it to keep dirty work tools and gloves in so I don’t get the oil smell in the cab or in my nice $500 tool chest. The top locks, but it’s made of plastic so obviously if someone wants to smash it up it’s definitely doable. Long story short, if you have a tonneau cover or bed cab this is a really nice cheap alternative to the brand name ones out there that hold the same amount of space. I’d give it 5 stars if it could secure to the truck. * one month review: used it a lot for work, it now won’t even shut without me getting in the bed and lifting it and pushing it HARD into the snap that holds it. This is total junk, if the window to return it hasn’t closed I would absolutely return this. DO NOT BUY

Question bracket attachment with self drill tapping bolts and rubber washers.
The self tapping bolts with rubber washers dont stay tight on our bumpy roads. Going to try 1/4" rivnuts with lock washers.

This storage will mount perfectly in a 2023 Chevy Silverado on the drivers side
Was not sure of strength of the self tapping attachment hardware so I used rivet nuts with bolts for added strength

Legit for the price
I can’t tell a difference between these and the more expensive ones. Doesn’t make a noise when I drive.

Not quite for a 2023
The description says for 2023 Silverado but you have to modify the brackets a bit, they do lock as advertised just people complain they don't lock to the truck. Overall very happy with these as the sit under my trifold bed cover.

Overall a good product. Been happy with it. The self tapping screws do loosen over time and so the box doesn't release from the latch smoothly. I added a few rivits on the mounting bracket, hopefully that will help secure the bracket better.

I used this on my 23 1500 Chev. Fit great but missing pieces. Can’t lock it into truck

DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK. Terrible storage for your truck. Screws strip out. Will not even hold half the weight it says. Complete garbage
