Well I bought this for my wife to use and she hates it. It heats up fast and is good quality but it won't maintain temperature. You have to close the lid closed in order to cook anything then when you open the lid you have a mess to clean up because of all the water. I regret not buying a small gas Blackstone. Don't waste your money. The griddle is not cast Iron and is to thin to maintain the nessacery temp.

EDITS: The manufacture did follow up, with some delay, and shipped the replacement base which fixed the issue. Now the grill is working. Changed rating from 1 to 4 stars. And -1 star for the trouble and slow customer service, and the time it took to resolve it.I purchased this grill 2-3 months ago, and it was working fine, but now it keeps shutting down randomly. I cannot keep both side heated up at the same time, because it shuts down, even when the temperature is low. Now, we can only cook one side of the grill, and it doesn't seem to reach the full temperature as it was doing before.The grill stays on only on one side.I contacted Blackstone support, and they have replied once, asking me to take the grill apart, remove screws, and take photos. Which we did, but Blackstone never replied back with a follow up solution. No replacement, no response.We like this product, but Blackstone customer support is not responsive, and currently degrading customer experience.If you ever buy this grill, make sure you purchase extended warranty like Asurion to protect your purchase over 3 or 4 years, or just buy a grill from a manufacturer that gives better support.

Already had a 36 pro series outdoors. I don't know what it is but I just love cooking on a griddle. Now I have this indoors and haven't used my stove top since I recently got this. The non stick is great just make sure you use silicone utensils. I'm very much enjoying griddle indoors

I got this for my wife for Christmas. She wanted to fry up bacon, sausage, hamburgers, ect on the griddle in the garage to keep the grease mess out of the kitchen. She really was surprised to see she could fry up 4 packages of Hillshire sausage at one time. She did 4 pounds of hamburgers at one time. the smell and grease was not in the house and clean up was a breeze. I have the gas model for camping and we have really enjoyed that one also. Blackstone has it together with their excellent quality products!
