Good alternative for chewing
Love these for my dogs. One is a mixed breed and the other a chiaweenie. They both like to chew when they are bored and one stick can last a few weeks. It helps keep their teeth clean and strong. The size is good for both dogs as well. When it’s small I soak it in water and microwave it to make a big cheese puff

Gentle on stomachs, tough for chewers, doesn’t stink or leave a mess. Lasts forever.
My dogs love these and they last forever! If they break off little pieces, you can microwave them and they turn into a little cheese puff that dogs love. I have Shepheds so I’m very careful with their stomachs. There’s nothing about this street that I don’t like. It doesn’t even leave a mess and it’s not stinky when they eat it. It’s healthy for them and it isn’t going to turn to glue in their stomach like rawhide. The price may seem steep, but when you compare it to how long it lasts, and how many other bones you would buy in that time, I think you’re saving money.

Keeps her busy and off our things!!! Last a long time!
The reason we got this was to hopefully stop our dog from chewing on things he should not.... we tried getting her toys and other bones.... we were looking for something tough and would taste good so she could spend days chewing the same thing... Our pet clinic had recommended something like this..... Anyhow at first she didn’t want it cause she still wanted to be naughty but after a few days leaving it on the ground she started chewing it!!!! She is a shitzu chihuahua so you can imagine how long it takes for her to finish one of these!?! About a 2 weeks!!!!! Well.... it’s 2 weeks of her not chewing our things or the kids toys!!!! We want to get small size and she go through them so fast, this was made more sense. I don’t know what they taste like (of course) and there is minimal smell but they are being generous in size and quantity!! I bought this bag months ago and she’s only gone through half!!!!!! It has detoured her from chewing things which is what our goal was.... once in a while she will try to chew something but we throw this her way and she goes to town with it!!! Hopefully by the time she is done with this pack she will have gotten over the chewing if not we will be buying another pack cause this is so much cheaper than having to replace footwear toys and other things!! I haven’t looked if there were other flavors yet but hoping so... If you have a little chewer on your hands try giving her something that she can chew on for days.... Hope this was helpful

They last but maybe that's the problem
Believe it or not, I used to herd yaks. They are wonderful animals, very smart, and just about the most useful animal there is (meat, milk, cheese, riding and harness work, hair soft as cashmere). My puppy is 7 and a half months old and a massive chewer. He goes through $5 per shot chews in two minutes. So between the yak milk and the lasting potential, I wanted to try these. He loved it at first, chewing like a house afire. The next day not so much. Now it lies unwanted even though I dance around it and shake it and try to evoke any kind of interest. So—it lasts, it's obviously very healthy, but he is no longer interested. Agh!

It's everything they say it is.
It is really correct that it works for aggressive chewer. It lasts and my fussy dog loved it. I will buy more.

My dogs loved the first order of the Yak dog chews.I ordered another package of the same exact ones. The ones that were in the package are so large that my dogs cant pick them up.

SUPER HARD LIKE PLASTIC
I've never heard of these treats before and was excited this would last longer than 5 mins for my 80 lb boy. I opened it and thought it was a pure chunk of cheese that would be tough & chewy, but to my surprise it was rock solid. I tried to bite a piece off but I was afraid to break my teeth. I don't understand how any owner could give these to their dogs. They're pure rock solid that could damage dogs teeth, especially smaller dogs. It also broke in big pieces when he dropped it. I'm worried my dog would swallow a piece and choke. I was hoping these would soften but it doesn't. I don't get it. What am I missing with these treats? I don't understand how a dog could enjoy biting a rock solid treat that feels like plastic. It doesn't seem fun to me but I'm not a dog. I was really hoping I found a good one.
