A Possible Miracle Product!
My precious 19-year old cat Mimi passed away a month ago today. It's taken me this long to gather myself to be able to write this review. My MAJOR review is - I WISH I HAD FOUND THIS PRODUCT EARLIER!! In April, Mimi was diagnosed with metastatic mammary gland cancer and several other health conditions of an older cat (heart, lungs, and kidney problems). She had been healthy her entire life, but started getting ill the last 10 months to year of her life. Because of her extreme age and temperament of not liking to be "handled," I decided against all of the extremely aggressive surgeries, chemo, and radiation recommended. Without treatment, the vet said she would live about 3-6 months more. So I opted for comfort care and much TLC to allow her to die at home. The vet said she did not appear to be in much pain in spite of having one very large tumor that was beginning to bleed. By the end of June, she basically shut down completely - stopped eating and drinking, slept all day long, had shallow breathing, and could not make it to her litter box. At one point, she could not even stand, I had to carry her to her litter box. I knew she was at the end of life. At this same time, I learned about Life Gold and the comfort it provided for cats with cancer. Since I had nothing to lose, I rush ordered it and gave it to Mimi by mouth the night I got it. The next morning, when I checked on her, she was sitting up straight, something she had not done in three weeks. I gave her the second dose that morning and then another that evening. She also ate some tuna fish and drank water that day, something she had not done in days! The next day, Mimi started walking again, coming into the kitchen and going to her food and water bowl. With each passing day, she got stronger and stronger, sitting up and awake on our porch (her favorite pastime), and even started growling and hissing at the new kitten we have, whom she never liked. She even ran from her many times. LOL I kept telling my family "Mimi is back!" She looked calmer, less stressed (except for the kitty), and moved about, ate, and drank just as she always had. Mimi was on the product for only a week and half before she quietly passed away in one of her favorite corners of the house the first week of July. Her tumor was growing wildly and bleeding profusely, and her heart condition also was advancing. So her imminent demise was inevitable. However, I believe strongly that if I had found this product sooner, she would have lasted a little longer. What Life Gold did for her in her last week of life was short of a miracle. To go from lying around almost lifeless to "back to normal" in a matter of days was truly something to see. I will never forget it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product. Use it as soon as you get a bad diagnosis for your fur baby and watch it make a major difference in their life. Here's wishing the best of health to all the cats out there! Life Gold will help!!

Good stuff!!!
I got this for my cat!!! She seems to really like it a lot. She eats it all by itself so the taste must be good! I believe that this stuff was well worth the money, it brought her energy back, she’s playing again and seems to be acting more like herself! Thank you!!

Health supplements help help keep him having a good live.
I put the drops over his food and he took it well. Glad for the additional health supplement in his system, he is 15 years old and continues to do quite well.

Our Cat Didn't Tolerate This
We ordered this product to support our cat. He didn't care for it. He could smell it before we could administer it directly into his mouth and would not tolerate it mixed with food.

Cat with aggressive lymphoma doing great!
EDIT Jan 2021: Loaf is still doing great on his depomedrol and Chinese herbal regimen. I'm keeping him on these drops but honestly hesitate because the company reformulated the ingredients and the prior main ingredient is not in the current formula. That means that the following old review I made is worthless. You can read my review and it is great but you will not be buying the same product... PRIOR REVIEW: Our 7-year-old cat had a fast-growing tumor basically pop out of his forehead and when we had it biopsied it showed an aggressive form of lymphoma - a terminal diagnosis. I immediately started him on this product because, what could it hurt, he's dying. We took him to University of Pennsylvania oncology and the Veterinary Cancer Center for a second opinion. The VCC offered the Laser Knife or standard radiation and chemo with a prognosis of extending his life 6 months to a year, possibly up to 3, with a cost of near $20,000.00 and repeated rounds of chemo. Penn had standard radiation that he would receive daily for 30 days and chemo. at more like $8,000 but out of the question with the suffering he'd go through and not being able to understand why. Without treatment both oncologists told us he would likely survive weeks maybe months. The treatment options just seemed too cruel so I bought "Life Gold For Cats" because, well, he's dying, what could it hurt? We were then referred to a local nature center that uses a vet whom practices complementary medicine. He's is also being treated by her with a few different Eastern herbs and traditional depo-medrol (steroid). She looked at the ingredients and said we could continue using Pet Wellbeing's Life Gold. Within a couple of weeks the tumor completely went away. He had been absolutely miserable and just looked sick when diagnosed in July. It is now December and he is playing like a kitten, still no tumor, blood work is back to normal, his coat is shiny and he is just happy as could be. I cannot say for sure that this was due to this product but something in the combination he is getting is working. We will keep using this until it is his time. Also, it is easy to give in food. Sometimes he hesitates but I try to give it when he is really hungry and if he does not finish I mix in some treats and it's just dandy.

Use with extreme caution - can cause adverse reactions
I gave it one star not because I think it's necessarily a bad product - I've seen folks use it with a great amount of success. BUT, in a smaller amount of cases, if your cat has cancer, it can make them deteriorate quickly. My cat has large cell kidney lymphoma, which fortunately we caught early enough that it has not yet metastasized. As soon as we got the diagnosis, I immediately started researching supplements to help him through the chemo treatments we were going to start him on - he's getting Lomustine with no prednisolone, because he's developed diabetes from pred before and he doesn't need that on top of fighting cancer. I'd read very good things about this product, so I bought it. I had given it to him for one day and he began to decline noticeably. However, at first I just thought it was the cancer doing that, because large cell lymphoma is very aggressive. So I kept giving it to him, per the dosing instructions. He began refusing his food and getting weaker, until I decided to stop all supplements in favor of just getting him to eat plain canned food. Well, a day after stopping the Life Good, he started bouncing back, eating food again and regaining a bit of leg strength. Since this was the only supplement I'd added into his diet (he'd been getting Dasuquin, cordyceps, and Miralax for some time so I know it wasn't those), I can only assume it was the Life Gold that caused the decline, especially after reading the negative reviews here that reported the same declines. But people NEED to see this, because as with chemo drugs, not all animals and humans see the same benefits in herbal supplements, and in some cases like ours, what works for some can actually cause adverse reactions in others. So if your pet has cancer and they start to decline soon after being given this supplement, do NOT assume it's the cancer advancing - remove this from their diet immediately, and see if improve a bit; it appears that Life Gold's adverse reactions can mimic advancing cancer.
