Yorkville YORK-PS15P 15 Powered Speaker 4400w

An amazingly ballsy speaker. You can't feed this thing enough input for it to come anyplace close to distortion and the output is clean and exactly what you put in. I don't know if I quite believe that it peaks at 4400 watts because it's difficult to attain that kind of power and, if you did, that kind of wattage would literally blow your eardrums out. With that said it murders any other powered speaker in the market on a price/performance comparison. For a street price of $1200. you get a speaker that is light for the kind of output it has (about 60 lbs) yet puts out an amazing sound with an outrageous amount of volume. A pair of theses Yorkvilles used by a dj or for a band PA are all you need for 95% of the venues in the world. If you're playing MSGarden or Royal Albert Hall you may need a few more pairs....... They aren't as elegant looking as the QSC speakers but they have 4X the wattage (and size matters) and these brutes put out.

Purchased this for our son who just completed his college degree in music production and film. Amazing speaker as advertised. Sound is amazing, he was looking at the smaller 1100 watt and said now one will do for now :)

I own a pair of these and they are so loud and clear that you may feel your eardrum bothering without having the volume all the way up. I had the EV TX1152 and not even close to these speaker.

If I could give these 10 stars I would. Made in Canada (no Chinese junk), I upgraded from 2 SRM450's to these bad boys, I can't tell you how great these are, simply amazing! Can easily handle 400 ppl. Downside; I now need to purchase 2 used mackies for my smaller parties Bc of the complaints these speakers produce with volume! Worth every penny.
