I purchased this camera for one basic reason - to take photos and videos underwater. The price was very reasonable for my purpose. The camera came with different mounting accessories. For underwater photography I attach to a floating handgrip that I fasten to my wrist (not included). The camera comes with an additional (2 total) battery. The camera recommends a 32 gb SD Card. Great camera for my purpose. Great value and very functional in taking videos and photos underwater in the case provided.

Great little camera. It is very durable. We mounted it on a stand to catch us fishing. Love the cover for the camera. Has a great picture quality. It is a great value for the money.

The camera is ok it doesn't hold battery power long i have to charge them constantly! The camera has a muffled sound when recording and its in the protected case !

I bought this as a video camera to mount to my still camera for a dive trip. I've done this before with another action cam, with great results. First off, the product listing claims that the camera has a 90 degree field of view. This is not true. The field of view is incredibly narrow, making this camera useless as an action cam. (See my photo in the review showing the field of view compared to 90 degrees.) Second, it claims to be waterproof to 131 feet. The deepest I got was 97 feet, and the case leaked a bit. The camera survived, but there was water sloshing around in the case. Third is the video quality. As others have mentioned, it's terrible, looking like a webcam from the late 90s. I downsampled some video until the resolution looked marginally acceptable, and it looked okay at 480p. Even though the resolution was okay, the image quality was terrible. I've included an image comparing this camera (lower, downsampled to 720p) to an action cam I bought in 2018 for $50 (upper, full res) to show how incredibly bad this camera is. Lastly, also mentioned by others, is the wonky file format. The only thing I could find that would play the video was VLC, which fortunately is able to transcode the video to a format that other software will use. Unfortunately, this is a long and tedious process. (But is does give one the opportunity to downsample the videos to 480p, saving some storage space.) Given the terrible quality and unusable field of view, I ended up not using the camera for most of my dives, and will of course be returning it.

My son got this for Christmas a year ago ... I'm shocked to say, this little camera is still going strong!! Not sure how to change some of the settings because we lost the manual months ago, but it still records, takes photos, etc. impressive.

The first thing I want to point out is that I got more than I expected and I wasn't expecting much for the price. This item is perfect for my use, exactly what I wanted, but I gave it 3 Stars just to be honest for the rest of you. First, the GOOD: After shopping at length for "Dash Cameras" I got frustrated with the large size and need for external power in many cases i.e., wires running from a cigarette lighter USB around the windshield to the rear view mirror area. I don't need voice actuation or other bells and whistles and complications. I just want to turn the cam on and forget about it. I decided to go with a "Sport Camera" instead. - EXCELLENT! The cam is small, very light, comes with one MiniSD card and two batteries as advertised along with a lot of mounting hardware for $30US- EXCELLENT! My hands are fairly small and no issues accessing the buttons while cam is attached to the windshield. It is tucked up behind the rear view mirror and does not obscure my view at all. I can see the bottom half of the cam under the mirror but it is not in the way. Camera has a "Car Mode" setting. This allows the cam to work pretty much like any dash cam (without voice command capability). It will record and save in bite-sized file sizes (I chose save every 3 minutes), it will loop new images to the SD card overwriting older files forever. Card holds several hours of recordings - at least 6 hours in my case. Battery lasts longer than 6 hours if you tell the screen to go dark after 1 or 3 minutes. If you plug the cam into your car's power it will come on and start recording automatically upon starting the car, and shut down shortly after cutting off the engine so you never have to touch the camera if this is what you want. I can access the charging/data port without taking the camera out of the mounting bracket. I can see the charge status lights also. Buttons are easily accessed while attached to the windshield. Now the Not-So-Good. The instruction booklet (all in English) is printed in TINY print. I have 20-20 vision and it still sucks. The English translation is a little clunky but not terrible. The camera is a lot more intuitive than the instructions suggest. Just learn how to turn it on and off and the setting menu is like any other camera. To be clear, I DID NOT download the app to connect to my phone. I tried. App is supplied by a third party source and I don't really need Chinese spyware on my phone right now. So i bailed on the App and don't really care. I do not need it to WiFi to my phone. Some of my complaints below may be attributed to me not using the phone app. OK, there are a bunch of things shown in the instructions that do not exist on my camera. Or to be fair, I can't find them without the phone app? 1. Cam is 1080P. There are no other choices. Looks like VHS to me. Stills are 5M and no options. Picture quality is POOR through my windscreen. It is GOOD ENOUGH to capture what I need in case of an accident. Will it render a license tag a block away? NO. 2. Exposure setting - NO 3. Even with all of the hardware supplied with the camera I still had to dig through my vast collection of action cam bits to find the one section that I glued a magnet to in order to mount it the way I wanted it. Magnet is not included. I used one magnet on the camera - see photo, and one on the windshield. Easy on-easy off. The rest of the mounts were included. NOTE! If you remove the battery you will lose your date and time stamp. All other setting stick. You must reset the date and time. IN CONCLUSION: I got a lot more than I paid for IMO, it's good enough, and if it lasts ONE year, I will be thrilled. The craftsmanship looks just fine. Tiny built-in screen has nice resolution. I wish the recorded video looked as good. If the camera lasts on year I will continue to replace it with the same camera. It is exactly what I wanted other than sad image quality through the glass. Good enough!

I purchased this for a unique project. My dishwasher did not seem to be working properly. I put this in the dishwasher with some waterproof LED lights and found out my upper sprayer was not functioning. After a little bit of troubleshooting I got it fixed and back in business. This $20 camera saved me an expensive service visit or a replacement dishwasher. Video quality is decent and did the job!

My grandsons LOVED them! Pretty much opened the box, pushed power and off they went!

Das Untwasser Gehäuse ist hält nicht dascaus was es verspricht , Ich bin 2mal auf 30m getauscht und ab dem 10m Ist etwas Wasser in das Gehäuse eingedrungen. Als nextes die folge drauf ist da durch der OK Knopf sprich Auslöser kaputt gegangen. Das Untwasser Gehäuse sollte 40m durch halten laut Angaben. Also zum Tauchen ist die nicht tauglich Und schade ist es das kein UW Gehäuse nicht extra zu kaufen gibt.
