I initially bought one unit to grow a single plant. but I was so satisfied with its performance that I ended up purchasing three more over the span of a week to fill out my 4x4 grow tent. Now, with a total of four SF 1000s in my indoor grow tent, the lighting is absolutely fantastic! First and foremost, let me commend Spider Farmer for their exceptional customer service. Well worth the money. Plants that did not winter well last year when I used lights that are obviously targeting frugal shoppers. I spent the money this year, and what a difference. I actually had to reduce the light intensity because I don’t have room indoors for the plants to grow as much as they would if I left light at full intensity. Setup and assembly were easy. Controls are high quality and easy to operate and understand. Light level, outstanding.

So far my favorite light of all my grow lights. I really like the fact I can dim the lights to a reasonable power without having to raise and lower my setup. The light is strong enough for most of anything I'll be growing, but also capable of being toned down for delicate seedlings. Other companies seem to spend their time worried about packaging, which is like putting lipstick on a Pig. You can dress it up, but it's still a pig. Thank you Spider Farmer for putting out a quality product. Only thing I would suggest, is the company really needs to put more effort into making sure both sides of the aluminum board is smoothed down. Mine has bad scar marks from production that should have been smoothed out before it moved on thru production.

I got this light at the beginning of the year to start my summer season crops indoors before the snow melted so I could get a jumpstart on the spring planting season. Its pretty damn nice!!! A little bummed they raised the price once they realized what they had, although they did add an external dimmer on the newest model which I totally wish mine had. The growth and yields are pretty dang nice, and it covers a 4x4 table very well!!! I have ran this against 600HPS in a magnum XXXL hood. ( our old commercial standard for 4x4 tables ) and it holds it own very well. I do wish the boards where a little farther apart and the whole unit was a little larger just an extra .75inches between the boards would have worked and really gave amazing coverage over a 4x4 without hurting anything IMO. Now is this an American Made HLG no no its not, BUT that doesn't mean its not a very good light for the money!!!!! With the new improvements such as the external dimmer dial, and daisy chainable dimmer control so 1 dimmer can run multiple units is a great feature for future upscaling. Now it does tend to run a bit hot to the touch, nothing like a non air-cooled HPS runs but still easily over 100 degrees farenheit. Also the cables and clips provided to hang it do work, but if you have lower ceilings or space is of a premium in your room/tent they can be a bit annoying as they take up about 8-10inches of additional space the way its designed. This is nothing that can't be worked around with a little creative thinking but is still a tad annoying none the less. Quality and yields ( for fragrant/medical flowers ) have been plenty nice, at 400-450watts power draw it tends to produce about 45-50 grams a sq. ft. depending on your style and of course genetics but still on par with running 600 HPS over the same table, same genetics, same everything only thing changed was the light. Long story short, if you need to cover a 4x4 and do it well, the SF-4000 is a solid performer!!!

I absolutely love this grow light. It has top of the line diodes, great heat dissipation, and couldn't be more perfect from seedling growth (the dimmer is quite valuable) through early and mid vegetative stages. If only growing one plant it may be quite capable for flowering stages as well although I start using a bigger light in this stage of growth. The price tag is very agreeable as well considering the array of much more expensive grow lights on the market. Your girls will reward you for your months long efforts.

Well worth the purchase $$$ You can't go past (Spider Farmer Grow lights) top quality units x2 daisy chain here in pictures. When your rooting ( Rare $$$$ fig cuttings ) you need reliable grow lights after roots appear to bring out the green leaf growth 👍😊 🇦🇺 QLD Adam.D......

This is the best light I have purchased. In fact the only lights I will use are from SpiderFarmer. The quality of the equipment and customer service is top notch. I look forward to buying more.

Purchased it from India, should buy a step down converter and will let you know the experience once I work on them, I have purchased them for my Mars hydro tent, cant wait to experience this, I will change it to 5 stat if i receive the refund back from Amazon, as it is selling for 23000 while I paid 27000, felt like i got cheated with the pricing, also, I did not get the products holder as advertised, it shows an adjustable one, but i got some threaded one.
