Easy to Use and Works as Advertised.
I did a lot of hardscape projects this past summer and the cherry on top was a raised patio that replaced a rotted out deck. As a first timer there were several missteps but this was not one of them. I did a ton of research on jointing sand and this stuff is by far the easiest to use. I liked the fact that is was rain safe in 15 minutes because when I finally got to this stage, the rain was coming pretty regularly. I waited for a dry spell so not only the tops of the pavers were dry but between them as well. Poured out a couple of bags, swept into the joints, and followed the directions to water it. It set up pretty fast and has survived subsequent rainfalls. Obviously I don't know about it's longevity but so far I am super happy with the out come. If you don't want to mess with the numerous variables that involve sand a hardscape project, I highly recommend this stuff. Sure it's pricey but when comes right down to it, all the polysand is pricey so might as well go with something that works.

Amazing and easy to use if you follow the directions!
This stuff is amazing!! Very easy to work with and gave exact results it described! I had been contemplating a border to my large firepit and found cobblestone mats and needed a polymeric sand to solidify the project in place. I didn't like the reviews on the options in local stores and came across the Gator Maxx Sand G2 and figured the reviews were good. It took about 5 days to ship to me and I started my project right away. After laying my border and cobblestone mats, I cut the bottom corner of the bag to pour out a thinner line around the middle of the paved area. I didn't know if I would use the entire bag and wanted to make sure I didn't waste any product. This was super easy to spread out and fill the gaps. I tapped on the blocks and vibrated the surface and then went over a second time to ensure there were no gaps. I carefully brushed the excess sand from the top of the bricks. Then I sprayed, on the mist setting of my garden hose spray nozzel to kind of set the sand in place before using a gentle shower setting to get the water over the sand until the water stops soaking into the sand. And that's it! It's curing now but I am so pleased with how well my project turned out! I highly recommend this product and the cost is worth the quality and ease of use!

Fantastic product for pavers with a variety of gaps!
Bought a property 2 years ago that had some really great paver work in the back yard. A walk-out patio in the basement with a beautiful custom stair case (paver and cement) up to a wide landing (16ft) stair case up to a small deck. Then the same pavers from the other side of that deck around to the main driveway/garage entrance. In other words, lots of pavers. After power washing last year, I leveled all the pavers (picked them all up where they were washed out and no longer level and put new sand under them), and then put normal sand between the gaps. It looked really nice ..... for 1 year. This year, the pavers were still nice and level (I fixed the water run off issues last year so the pavers wouldn't just wash out again), but lots of the sand between the pavers had washed out from rain and the gaps got dirt in them ..... which turned into grass between my pavers (did I mention its a LOT of pavers). I was in the process of determining exactly how to kill myself when a friend of mine recommended trying paver sand instead of Home Depot sand. So..... back onto the power washer, cleaned out all the grooves (AGAIN), bleached the algae off the top of the pavers (it is quite shady in my back yard as there are lots of trees so the algae grows easily in the summer), and removed the remaining crud with a butter knife on my hands and knees. Did lots of research on what paver sand would work best for me. My pavers have a wide variability from 1/8" (butted up against each other) to over an Inch on corners where the pavers on the outside of the turn have gaps. I made sure at least 2 days passed after I power washed (and no rain) so all the surfaces were dry and then applied the Maxx G2 paver sand. I followed the directions using a bristle broom and a fine broom to remove as much of the excess as I could. Some reviewers complained that the product left a powder coat on top of their pavers. I noticed this as well, so before I applied the water to it, I added a step! I used my variable speed leaf blower on the very lowest speed and at a distance where it just provided a stiff breeze blew off the powder coat from the pavers left behind from the sweeping. This produced a visible cloud of dust. I used just enough wind so that the sand didn't move from the grooves, but that the top surface was completely clean. It worked great and left no visible residue that I could see. The results were fantastic. Very small grooves filled in on every crevice. Larger grooves filled in and provided a solid fill sand that has the consistency of concrete ..... but looks much nicer. So next year, I will not be power washing at all. Just a quick bleach and water mixture to kill off the algae and moss for a year and my pavers will stay looking like new without all that work! I highly recommend spending the coin on this product. Yes, it is a bit more expensive than the other paver sands, and a whole lot more expensive than basic sand, but it will save you so much time and looks so good when you are done.

keeps the bricks from moving
I was making a firepit area and I was just going to use Sand in between the bricks. Everyone I talked to said that they will end up moving over time with just sand. I wanted to find something that would hold the bricks in place for a long period of time. I purchased Alliance Gator Maxx G2. I was worried that I might mess it up and end up having it not work. It was very easy to put down, then I just had to spray some water on it and let it set up. It looks great and is hard in between the brick holding them in place. The best part being that there is a warranty to hold them solid. It turned out great

Great Product When Used As Directed
This seems to be a great product when used as directed. I live in the northwest and I have wide paver sidewalks under 21' of roof from eaves to ridge and there are no gutters. When it rains water poors off the eaves and falls about 10 feet to the pavers. Other products have softened up and washed out in less than a year. This product has been in a year and still holding strong (no wash-out). Sets well when installing in warm sunny weather, installing in cooler/damper weather may not result in it setting up as well in the short term and you could suffer wash-out if a gusher comes down.

Solid polymeric sand for patio outdoors
I tried Alliance Gator Maxx G2 polymeric sand on my patio joints and very happy to see the clean, solid joints, no stain looks. Patio is weed free, easy to maintain. Good quantity of sand in bag to reapplication. Dries quickly, functionally does what it's supposed. Value for money and happy with purchase.
