Powerforlaptop SCUD-WT-N19 Replacement Battery Compatible with Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 2020 SM-T500 SM-T500 SM-T500N

I purchased this battery for my Samsung Galaxy A7 tablet, and it was easy to install. It fit perfectly and works as expected. Spending $16 for this battery was quite a bargain compared to sending it to a repair shop or buying a new tablet. I'm quite happy I was able to fix this myself.

Used this to replace the battery in my old Samsung tablet A7. Battery life was down to around 2 hours before replacement, now it’s almost 8 hours. What a difference! Definitely worth the money & time to make the replacement. I found a video on YouTube and followed it step by step and it turned out to be easier than I thought it was going to be. The tools that came with the battery were very useful. The hardest part was getting the battery unstuck from the base. I could’ve used a stiff plastic card to get under the battery to release it — but I didn’t have one so I just used brute force & ignorance. It worked okay. Just make sure that you also get some double sided tape from Amazon to re-secure the battery, otherwise it keeps falling out while you’re trying to put screen back on. Double sided tape I got from Amazon worked great 👍

Works perfectly. Other than getting the tablet separated, the install was super easy.

The battery seems to be a great replacement for our Samsung A7 tablet. Once I got it installed properly, it charged up and seems to be maintaining its charge. However, it was difficult to install. The contacts on the connector tended to bend easily and I found it difficult to get it centered on the tablet's mating connector. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to have tabs on either side to guide it into place. It took me several tries before I managed get it seated properly. On one try, it appeared to be working, but failed to charge and drained after just a couple hours. Once I got it aligned just right, though, it started working just fine. It's been running the tablet for 5 days now and is only down to 60%.

It has been a full year since I first purchased this product. I have two tablets mounted on the headrests of my car, and they stay there year-round. The original Samsung batteries lasted several years but eventually began to swell. Last year, the first tablet’s battery swelled, and I replaced it with this aftermarket battery. It has worked great so far. A year later, the second tablet’s OEM battery swelled, and I purchased this replacement again. Over the past year, this battery has endured Illinois weather — from -20°F in the winter to around 150°F inside the car during the summer. No issues with the battery so far. I highly recommend it.

Used to replace battery in a tablet. Watched several videos on how to do it. Bought this kit. Easy to do. Hardest part was the tiny screws, which I did need to get tweezers for. Once hooked up, charged perfectly.

Battery worked and fit perfectly. Was shipped well and arrived on time. It was very easy to install, just take your time when connecting. The connector is the right one, you just need care and patience.

This battery has the wrong battery connector on it. It does NOT fit—no possible way (here's a pic that clearly shows how unlike the original it is), and we tried a dozen times. After finally accepting defeat, we put the old/original one back in to test the connection and make sure we weren't crazy, and voilà, it snapped in place immediately. Not sure we'll find a replacement we trust enough to try this again, but we definitely do NOT recommend this one.
