I've had the previous version which is bigger and more squared on one side (there's 2 you can buy from this page). This review is for the newer, lower profile, round one (see pictures attached). I just got it today so this is not a review on use, however I used the previous model for about 9 months. I can tell by appearance and touch that this new version is a superior quality and build - it's also smaller and takes up less room from the seat. I have no problem removing it, like others have mentioned. The cable feed hole is nice. I have an iPhone 13 Pro (2nd largest size) and it fits with a case on in that hole, if you have a fatter case it won't though. It can also fit in the middle cubbie although diagonally. The cup holes appear to be exactly the same as the previous version. ONE thing that was nice about the older version was that the middle hole could be used as a third cup holder for impressionable cups and thin plastic water bottles. Back to the positives, this has the leather stitching on both sides. Overall I imagine this will do it's job just as well, if not better than the previous version while also being more aesthetically pleasing and taking up less space. Vehicle I'm using this in is a 2005 Audi S4 (B6) and as you can see by the last photo, I only have one cup holder and it's a feeble pop out holder that sends drinks flying if you punch the pedal. 5/5 does its job, looks decent, and is cheap. Recommend.

This thing is awesome, my wife ordered it for herself to use in my Corvette stingray on the passenger side because she never seems to have enough space for her water and coffee. It also makes a nice armrest for her. I tried it in my Chevy truck and it also fits great. My wife also tried it in her own car. She’s got an older Mercedes GL 550 and it s nice, but if you’re a larger person, wide wider hips or legs, then it might encroach on your seating area. My buddy but tried it out in his Porsche and that fit perfect as well as his Jeep Wrangler, but that wasn’t a perfect fit, but it worked for the passenger side. The driver side gets in the way of the shifter. As my wife says, this is a game changer and she no longer complains when riding in the Corvette because she has her space for water and a second drink such as coffee, rolled up magazine or a phone, etc., my wife is beyond thrilled!

I've been looking for something like this for such a long time because I pick up lunch for my coworkers and we enjoy beverages to accompany our meals but driving with a drink tray is tricky. This really saved the day(s) for me. Now, I don't own tumblers or any travel mugs so I can't comment on the fit and secureness. What I can say is that it fits my Starbucks well. As pictured, it is not deep compared to my car cup holder but it holds it well. I would suggest more solid drinks to go in it or just make sure you have a very secure lid on. Water bottles would just fly out. I don't mind it too much because I can drive with my left and "hover" the console with my right during sharp turns or U-turns. My passengers has no problem sitting with the console inserted but the extra couple inches of room would have been nice. That is not a problem for me because I rarely transport multiple drinks and when I do have passengers, I could just remove the console and just keep it in my backseat until I need it again. It is very sturdy and serves its intended purpose. However, the one downside is that during the summer heat or any hot days, the top part, where the stitching is at, would start to come apart and you'd see the strings of glue where it separates. I'd have to push down on them to re-adhere them. Overall I like it, I don't mind the shallowness, I'd rather have something shallow that could hold my drinks than nothing at all.

It fits my Porsche Cayman. It is a vey snug fit however.

I have this cup holder in my 2002 mercedes c320 wagon. The overall design is good. The holder fits between the center console and passenger seat edge. It doesn't slide around and stays put. Now the bad. The "leather cover " is of poor quality. It's actually vinyl with edge stitching. As mentioned in other reviews, this cover comes unglued from the front and the back of the holder. I had to reglue it using spray adhesive. The actual cup inserts will hold a 12oz soda can and 16 oz plastic bottles. Removing them will let you put a large paper cup in such as a big gulp 32-42 oz. Overall it suits my needs, but the quality of construction needs improvement. Overall 3 out of 5 stars.

Once installed in the vehicle looks nice. BUT it dont sit very sturdy and when the vehicle is in the sun and gets super hot inside. The glue melts and the cover slides off. It will get stuff in your car very sticky. I ended up throwing away. Maybe just use colored plastic or dye in it to color it. Its sort of a waste of money putting a cover over it when it can not withstand the heat

Love this console insert! The perfect solution to my cup holder and phone needs! It insets perfectly between the seat and my existing console and provides twice the capacity for drinks....and an added bonus of a phone station. The craftsmanship is beautiful and the leather cover matches the interior of my vehicle. The insert is non invasive, moveable, and can be used in multiple vehicles. I love it! Thank you!

Just installed this. So far I like this one very much. I needed my cups open to use and needed one for my phone holder. I had been using a phone holder that fit into my CD player. But it started cracking the corner of the CD player face. So went back to a cup type. It's a very secure fit.

Seems well made, tried it on both the passenger and drivers side and still very comfortable! I am considering buying one more so I will have one for each seat. We are planning a long road trip and the extra storage will help a lot! Fits perfectly in my 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander

This console looks great and is well-built. We had bought it to use in a sports car. Unfortunately we had to return because this console needs a short person, forward positioned seat in order to be properly wedged between the seat and center console of the car. When the seat is slid back to accommodate my husband's long legs, then there's not enough space for this console to be wedged between. We got a fullq refund and returning was not difficult.
