This is a replacement for my current face shield. It fit perfectly and is priced right.

I TRUST and use these shields at work and home while operating angle grinders. They are way THICKER than other shields out there. CLEAR😁 . And plenty of coverage and protection.Note: protective layers of film on both sides must be removed before using. DUH!There is a MISleading photo of this shield as blurred,lol, by someone who only has negative reviews in there profile, btw. Must be hard not knowing if you should put on your shoes or socks first each day.I put these shields to the test DAILY withs HOURS of GRINDING on STEEL.I HIGHLY TRUST.LONG LASTING.

I have been woodturning for several years; occasionally, a piece of wood will come off the lathe, and it usually hits the banjo and goes flying over my head. But recently, I was turning a piece of wood that weighed about 4 lb., spinning at about 350 RPM, and it flew off the lathe, missed the banjo, and hit me squarely in my face. Fortunately, I was wearing my Uvex face shield, and no undertaker was needed. I did not get a scratch. The only thing I had to do was straighten my face shield. I never put a piece of wood on the lathe without putting on my face shield first. BE SAFE, NOT SORRY

This is a replacement visor for Uvex S8550. My old visor was fogging, cracking, and tattered. This new clear one arrived in perfect condition and with a protective film over it. It fit perfectly into place with little effort. It also stays in place firmly and will not fall out of place. I anticipate this one looking like my old one in due time, but for the time being, it is doing it’s job well.
