Celebrate Multivitamin Capsules - 270 Count

Tried taking flavored chewables but no matter what flavor i tried all I tasted was bitterness from the underlying vitamins which stayed for a hour after taking them. Switched to these capsules and have been happy ever since. At first I bought one that included iron but I was already taking a high dose iron supplement so switched again this non-iron version. I take them with food (mid meal or mid snack) to minimize the chance of upset stomach or reflux but i've never had an issue following this regiment. I also take the separate iron supplement at a different time because I read somewhere that iron interferes with other nutrient absorption.

I ordered this vitamin because my doctor’s office sold me the same brand at a significant markup in price. The capsules from Amazon are smaller and slightly lighter in color than the ones in the smaller bottle by the same brand from my doctor. The nutrition labels are the same, so I trust I am getting the same vitamin potency. As I said, these are a bit smaller than the 90 count I purchased from my doctor, so they are easier to swallow. I found that if I take them with a warm beverage, they go down easier. I have trouble with larger vitamins feeling like they stick in my throat or stomach, and since these are capsules, they dissolve more quickly than a solid vitamin does. They irritate my stomach slightly unless I take them with food. Be aware that you are supposed to take three of these a day to get the label’s stated nutrition.

If you are dedicated to keeping you vitamin levels in positive ranges, these vitamins will do that for you. I am 5 years out from my bariatric surgery and have continued to take these vitamins. My vitamin levels are checked every 6 mos. and I'm always within the proper range.
