Incredible sound and ease of use
We are first time podcasters but wanted to invest in quality equipment. The Rodecaster pro II was simple to setup and record on. Based on other products similar to this, the value was great. We do minimal editing, and the sound quality is phonemonal. High quality. Great functionality, and you can record and connect to wireless without a computer. Great value overall.

Sounds Great but USB-C on Windows Box Flaky
Making PowerPoint presentations with narration into YouTube videos and wanted reverb and high quality voice sound and this unit is in a lot of YouTube videos. So I bought it, and have a lot of music recording experience, but I didn't even check that it connects to PC with USB-C. I bought a USB-C expansion card and plugged everything in. And the audio coming from the PC dropped out a lot on USB-1 and the unit would just quit using USB-2. I researched a bit so as not to have to return it - I like it but it needed to work like the units on YouTube - it turns out that there's an issue where the unit draws too much power from the USB-C or something weird like that. So I bought a cable to convert the USB-C to USB-A and that works like a charm. I just wanted the extra bandwidth of the USB-C connection but it works fine with USB-A. Now it's rock solid but I killed 2 days screwing around with USB-C and different cables and researching so I gave it 4 stars. I'm sure Rode knows about this and should have included a notice with the unit. That being said recording is going well and Love Love Love this piece of studio Gear!!!

easy to use
Great out of the box, quality is fantastic. had a bit of friction at first with bluetooth. I think it's resolved. Did my first test live stream: verdict is that it will serve us very well. Very happy!
