Instinct Original Grain Free Real Salmon Recipe Natural Wet Canned Cat Food by Nature's Variety, 3 oz. Cans (Case of 24)

Extremely disappointed after feeding this to our cats almost exclusively for 5-years. Contacted Instinct and they just have excuse after excuse for what they have done. They admitted they basically never notified anyone other than an asterisk on the side by side comparisons are their website. Not only is not no longer made in the USA, they changed from pork organs to beef organs, and added guar gum now that it has moved to Thailand. The salmon formula is now a gooey pate. When I contacted Instinct, I got the distinct impression that I was being fed talking points and they could have cared less about my feedback. Beware that Amazon is sending out both formulas right now so it's impossible to know which you will get. Currently looking for another USA-made food without guar gum. Thanks Instinct for throwing our family into stress.

I adopted a sweet 7 year old cat from a shelter. She kept vomiting so I had an extensive vet exam done along with an ultrasound of her belly. She was diagnosed with IBD. I couldn’t feed her regular fancy feast as she’d vomit it up. I bought this instinct and NO MORE vomiting!!!! She loves all flavors, although I keep away from chicken and beef as she might be allergic to those types. She’s doing great. Cost is outrageous as I order 4 different flavors at a time.She’s worth every penny though and so glad I found Instinct!!!

I have been buying instinct through Amazon for years. My cat loves it and it is one of the few brands she will actually eat. You could imagine my surprise when I discovered tiny bugs in the canned food. Lately I have noticed the quality of the food drop drastically, it no longer even resembles the food I was once getting. At $36.00 a case I expect the product to be safe, consistent and BUG FREE!

It doesn't smell like meat when you open the can! It smells like ground guts as it's dark brown not light! Won't be ordering again! The turkey even smells worse! Bought two cases.........out they go! The old saying is true, you get what you pay for!

My 16 year old girl cat loves this stuff. It's her favorite food in the whole world. However, they are pretty rough with the cased and I have had some come that were bad because a can got dented and popped open. For the amount of money I spend on 12 cans, it's highly disappointing that I only get 11 or 10 from a pack.
