Ettore 31028 Professional Cobweb Duster with Pole

Bought this in 2017. Still works great!

This thing is amazing. I can't speak to how long it will last yet, I'll update if anything happens. Even if it breaks, the few times I've used it I've been able to get cobwebs and dust out of places I haven't been able to clean since I moved in in 2008. So even if it breaks now, which I don't think it will, it was well worth the cost. I can reach all but one corner of my two-story ceiling with this by carefully leaning over the second floor landing. The bristles are very stiff so I didn't think it would work but if you rotate it in place, it picks up everything around it.This has also been a good spider-remover - the spider falls or jumps into the bristles then I can take it outside and shake it off. The stick is long enough without extending it that I don't feel as if the tiny spider is going to kill me while I am transporting it out of my house.Also it extends by twisting, not pulling, as another reviewer mentions. I can see how this might be perplexing as there aren't instructions. It's not at all difficult though.

Years ago I bought something called a "Webster" to snag those cobwebs in the corners of rooms, in the nooks and crannies of the garage and all around the patio area. It became as essential as a broom or a vacuum cleaner. When I moved and the "Webster" did not make it to the new place I searched the local big box stores for a replacement. There were no "Websters" to be found! Searching the internet lead me to this product ... the Ettore 31028 Mighty Touch Duster. The price was reasonable. The Amazon delivery was fast. My duster does everything I need it to do - inside and out and one feature this one has that is an improvement on my old model is a longer, telescoping pole.

This product is heavy duty compared to my original Websters (similar cleaning tool I previous owned). The adjustability is great, though sometimes difficult to set. However, this is not a typical issue. My wife and I utilize it for spider webs in our garage and even the house. As the outside gets colder, the spiders seem to find there way in. This item stops them from forming Hoovervilles in the tuff to reach regions of our house. I would not recommend this item solely for dusting (at least by itself) since it only pushes it around rather than picks it up. However, spider webs are perfect for this product. One thing we did notice though is that if you really desire to utilize this product for dusting via its long reach, you can place a paper towel or cloth with cleaner on it, place it on the bristle-like head (holds it well), and then it will pick up the dust very well. I fully recommend this product if your primary goal is cleaning hard to reach regions or spider webs, but not solely for dusting. I hope this helps.

Just received this item, quick delivery and well packaged. Purchased the Ettore Mighty Duster after seeing a professional use this to clean spider webs from the exterior of a house. Well I've used it once to do the same and it works great! The cleaning head screws onto the extension pole that comes with your purchase. The pole extends to probably to about seven feet. I went around the exterior of my house in no time cleaning all the spider webs that were up, they are no more, works extremely well. I like that you could screw the cleaning head onto another extension pole to reach higher webs or wasps nests if needed. I could see this being use inside to clean base boards, door frames, recessed lights fixtures, or webs up high on your ceilings and walls. I would highly recommend purchasing this product and it's even better that it comes with it's own extension pole. For the price, you probably can't beat it for most general uses around the house, this is the one to buy!!

I just received the Ettore Professional cobweb brush. Took it out of the box and the bristles on one side were flat because of the way it was packaged. Pole looks good......on the directions it says "Leaning anything against the bristles may cause them to flatten." Well mine are flat right out of the box. Need them to replace only the duster.I am not happy!!!Okay, I called Amazon explained to them what the problem was. They were very nice and sent me a replacement and return slip for the bad one. I am very happy now, used the Ettore Professional Cobweb Brush it is great. Love it! I give this item a 5 Star rating!

Went beyond my expectations, was able to reach my high ceilings without a ladder, unlike many more expensive competitors. I see people complaining about the brush being squished, mine was fine. I think a lot of people miss that it is a cobweb duster, it's purpose is to get rid of cobwebs, not scrub the dirt from the eaves of your house. It is a very long pole, if you put a lot of pressure on it or whip it around then yes you might have structural issues. If you're looking to get hard to reach cobwebs this is great, if you're looking for an alternative to a power washer look elsewhere. This is reflected in the price.
