These rim block smell lovely and are effective at keeping toilet smelling fresh and clean. They provide a nice purple colour to the water which is what I was looking for. Very easy to install. They last a good while I have a busy household with 4 children. I prefer these over the blue colour ones as I think they smell better and actually are effective in leaving water coloured. I use these all the time. I love the smell, it can be smelt as soon as I walk into the bathroom. I like that it changes the water to purple (my favourite colour 💜) and it makes me feel the toilet stays cleaner with every flush. I have a thing about toilets and germs so it really does help with that, I still give it a thorough clean once a day though. They last a good amount of time for the price, definitely worth the value of what they cost.
