Great lightweight carry on
This bag is pretty minimal. If that's not your thing, move on... but if it is consider this bag. It has partial structure (not a duffle bag, the back is rigid), but the front and part of the sides are unstructured. That gives you flexibility in loading, and cramming it in the compartments on board. The roller wheels are the same as my other Brics bag, roll smoothly and the bag twirls easily. It's is not imbalanced and tippy (like my travel pro bag) It looks really sharp too. I got the ocean blue, which is a very dark navy - almost black. I like that the extending handle hides in a zip pouch, but it's not really necessary. There is no handle on the bottom (bummer) nor on the right side. Not a deal breaker, but not great. There are 4 little button "feet" on that side, for resting the bag on its side, I guess. Overall, a very stylish bag that is definitely gonna be ok as carry on - almost any airline. Just don't overstuff it! (You know who you are). I saw a review for this bag that said it was wonky to roll & I can't imagine why that person had that experience. These are pretty high quality Japanese wheels... used on multiple Brics bags. All of mine are super smooth - so much so, that's why I switched my soft side carry to Brics from the brand I was using. My hard side Brics made that bag feel clumbsy in comparison.

Very nice, functional suitcase
I saw this bag on a YouTubers channel when I was searching how to pack for London in a carry-on only. The bag is on the more expensive side but I'll tell you, it's well worth it. The inside has a lot of room so I'll be able to pack for 2 weeks. I love that it's top-opening rather than clam shell. I love the blue color and that it's a soft-side suitcase. It rolls effortlessly and the zippers are nice and smooth. It's not heavy at all, which is a plus for me to put it in the overhead bin. It's a very sturdy bag that will last a long time. If I were to design my own bag, this would be it. Everything about it will work for my trip. I'm glad I made the investment.

It looks good but veers off when rolling.
This packed really well, held an lot, and is lightweight. But it drove us crazy by veering to the side - requiring extra effort to push, even through the airport where the floors are smooth. It looks terrific and matches other Brics bags we already owned. The price was quite reasonable - a very good value.

Thoughtful Design. Worth the extra expense.
I’ve been eyeing this carry-on suitcase for quite a while. I’m so glad I purchased it for my recent carry-on only trip. I’ve decided that I prefer top-opening suitcases over clamshell style. The clamshell style takes too much room when open and they do not sit well on the luggage racks in hotels. The Bric’s X is quite spacious for its size and is currently an acceptable size on most airlines…for now. The wheels roll extremely smoothly. The handles, fabric and zippers are durable. As others have mentioned in their reviews, the telescopic handle is a teensy bit wobbly when fully extended and only locks in two different positions, so your choices are a short handle or a long handle. The handle is not a dealbreaker because the suitcase is great in so many other ways.
