Corner Shower Shelf, 10" Matte Black 304 Stainless Steel Grout in Shelf Rack for for Tiled Wall, Recessed Bathroom Shelf

I recently installed a new shower, doing the tile work, grouting etc myself. I was reluctant to install an alcove for the possibility it would be a source of water intrusion. I am very happy I decided on this product to provide storage for products in my shower. Simply grout the tiles like you would normally do (my grout lines are 1/16th of an inch and this product worked perfectly). Then while the grout is still curing, insert the stainless steel shelf into the corner grout line, wipe away excess and clean your grout like the manufacturer recommends. Easy! It would also be relatively easy (although not the route I took) to install as an afterthought: simply use a good oscillating multitool with a flat, rounded diamond abrasive tool tip to grind out the grout where you will mount this and apply new grout then insert. Done! No worries about building an alcove.

Well made, nice finish, quality stainless not flimsy. Cut 6 short slots in the grout for each shelf using an angle grinder with a 4" diamond wheel. I cleaned the grout and tile where they attach with acetone before applying silicone to ensure a good bond. They stay in place because the weight is on the grout line. I used blue tape on both sides of each shelf and on the tile (above and below) to mask where the silicone goes because it's just too difficult to get a perfect bead. Wiped it in with my finger and then peeled off the tape. Looks fantastic, now I wait 24 hours for the silicone to cure and good to go! Nice product would recommend!

These are great! Easy to clean, installed (contractor) without issue, fits enough shampoo and soap. Wasn't sure I wanted Stainless, but they look great!

Overall I really liked this item. I used this for a bathroom remodel, my only negative feedback would be the tabs that go into the wall off of the shelf are only like an 1/8th of an inch long and it would really make a big difference if it was an extra 1/8" longer. It comes with a plastic cover to protect the metal but the holes are stamped through the protective plastic as well so when I was grouting the shower some of the grout got in the holes so I ended up spending a decent amount of time getting the holes cleaned up. But other than that it looks fantastic and will make a huge difference for shelf space.

We purchased several different styles and sizes of shelves from Bernkot and this set is what we went with when updating our small shower. They look much nicer than those shower caddies that hang from the shower head. These shelves are heavy duty with several holes for draining water away and are easy to clean. These worked perfectly to hold our bath products.

I'm remodeling a bathroom and these are excellent quality shelves. In hind sight, I should have probably got 8" or 10" - especially because of my putting a shelf near the tub where you rest your head. But I'm able to carefully get in my 30" wide tub and lay back with this 12" version which is ~16" up off of the tub with no problems. Once you remove the film they really sparkle with bling, but when you first get them they are covered in a film which had me worried until I removed it. So, yeah, if you get 12" make sure you mount them like 48" up off of a tub and think about logistics with soaking, etc. All of my hardware is brushed nickle and they being stainless, seem to really compliment that overall theme.
