Single Din Car Stereo Flip Out Carplay, 7 Inch Touch Screen Car Radio with Android Auto Mirror Link Bluetooth FM Radio USB, TF, AUX In, Remote Control Reverse View Camera

I was hesitant whether to buy this or if i was wasting my money. The reviews were lacking and the few on here didn't give me much faith in the item. However I decided to buy it and see for myself. Took just over an hour to install, most of that was figuring out the original wiring colours of my VW to link it to the universal colours on the headunit. It then took me around a further 2 hours to install the camera, most of this was spent removing trim and tracing the reverse cable but got there eventually. The apple car play is excellent, I love the apple maps and being able to access them on a bigger screen is great. Youtube music, spotify, wifi radio and whatapp all work as they do in my wifes 2022 kia soul. I’m very happy with the quality and functionality of the unit. It came with not 1 but 2 remote controls, one attaches to the steering wheel which gives steering controls which I must have missed on the description so that was a bonus. Couple of negatives only minor or things that could make it just a little better. The unit itself especially when closed looks a little plain/naff. You can change the display to show the clock but it changes back to the input after a few seconds, would be nice to be able to leave the clock on. Would be nice if the screen popped up electronically, its not the smoothest of slides so I just tend to keep it open. Overall a very positive review and a great upgrade from my more expensive pioneer fm radio and a fraction of the cost of competitors with apple car play.

Installed in Mercedes Sprinter. For the price, it’s not bad. The volume output isn’t the greatest and the screen can be a little temperamental, but CarPlay works well. The hands free is not good. The mic isn’t sensitive enough even without the engine running. A separate wired mic should really be included and I believe can be added quite easily. This does not include any type of radio surround either so be sure to order separately if required. I also needed a 20 pin harness adapter which was recommended when adding to cart.

Bought this as a 'like new' item. Far from it. The package was missing the remote and steering wheel add ons, the until refuse to power on (I was lucky and have multiple harness to try). Defective, incomplete and so immediate return

Stereo works great with Android auto and I love the functionality, works well with a reverse camera as well. The only issues I've had is that every so often, but at random, it keeps resetting itself, losing the radio stations I've programmed in and any preferences. Also it doesn't seem to pick up FM very well though I'm not 100% sure if this is the adapter I've got for the aerial which I purchased from Halfords. Tried it in 2 different cars but have the same issue. It was a faff to install as had to buy a harness adapter separate and then join the harness from the stereo myself.

Based on other reviews I thought I’d post this to help others. I Installed this unit today, and although I’ve not had it for long I’d like to report good things so far. The radio does not have iso connection tors but wiring colours match those for the iso connectors so wiring it up was simple (although I did stand a few minutes just checking supplies etc). The radio itself is performing very well, the fm radio has no issues, and the CarPlay works exactly as I hoped. The screen is manual but I’m happy with that as 90% of the time the screen will be away and I’ll just be using FM. Really can’t find anything to complain about so far So I see this radio as a bit of a bargain….thanks.

What a great pull out stero great android auto connection great price

The unit looks good initially but it's quite complicated to install for the average guy as the connector isn't standard ISO. I had to order a separate converter lead to connect to my car. If you can do that then OK

I have really liked this product. It's exactly what I needed for my old, classic car. The problem is that I needed to also upgrade parts to connect it up to make it happen. Now I'm getting my head around how to connect it all up properly. But it is what I wanted to upgrade my car.
