Very nice knife, sharp and valuable investment
Excellent quality santoku knife, 7 inches is a good size to me. I did some research on how to choose a sharp santoku knife, and finally, I decided to try this new brand, it's a little bit risky for me because I have never used a German steel knife before. Well, this knife is totally amazing. First of all, the grip feeling is awesome and well balanced, I tried it in different angles, right hand, and left hand, and both works great. Secondly, its blade looks stunning, gotta be careful to fulfill cutting, because the edge is really sharp. The design is very common for a 7-inch santoku knife, but the materials make it stand out from a normal knife. I love the german steel knife, it does the excellent cutting. The gift box and sheath are nice, to me, it's a really valuable investment for a high-quality kitchen knife, hopefully, it can last as long as possible.

Fantastic german steel santoku knife, slice super good
Fantastic 7-inch santoku knife. This knife didn't disappoint me! Weight is just as good as it should be, for a woman like me, I like a knife that's not too heavy which can make me feel easier to cut, as this knife is 7 inches, made of German steel, so it's also could be good weight and size for men use, you don't have to worry about balance issue, I don't feel any balance issue during cutting. It does a good job to cut fruits, when I paring the cantaloupe it's amazing, it's not too much to say it's the best kitchen knife that I have ever used, it's so easy to pare and chop fruits and vegetables. if it goes to details of the craftsmanship of this kitchen knife, there is no spot, no scratch at all, it's protected so well, the handle looks pretty durable, and the blade with good shape. I am wondering if I need to buy another chef knife for meats, this knife seems to do all kitchen jobs, but I prefer to have two knives in my kitchen, one is for vegetables, fruits and another is for meats, like steak or chicken, but I would prefer to keep using this santoku knife for a while before I decide to go for a new one.

Well made, sturdy pro-design without ridiculous price
Purchased during a 41% sale. This brought cost down below less well made knives at discount chain stores. But quality is much higher with stated 56 Rockwell C hardness, forged blade, pakkawood triple riveted handle and pro-chef design . Forged partial bolster will not interfere with resharpening. Knife is sturdy with enough heft to give some inertia to slice harder carrots and squash, enough rocker to fine dice parsleys. Nice, sturdy gift box with flip open magnetic closing edge panel. Comes with a good fitting full length blade protector.

Surprising Quality
The presentation of the Santoko knife and packaging was really nice and not what you would expect for the price paid. The knife itself feels well made and seems sharp. It has the full tang construction and a well fitting sheath which is what I was looking for. Time will tell how the blade stand up, but I'm sure willing to give it a try.

Missed the Assembly Mark
This knife has all of the components of being a great knife. However, in the assembly process, the wood handle pieces were offset about 1/16 of an inch. The result is rough/sharp wood edges exposed on one side, and rough/sharp steel exposed on the other. What could have been a near perfect kitchen knife dropped greatly in value to the user because of lack of QC/inspection on the assembly line. If I hadn't discarded the box before discovering, I would have returned. In fairness - other than that one assembly flaw - this would be a great knife.

A lovely comfortable knife with a blade cover.

An esthetically pleasing knife that arrived sharp out of the box. A few strokes on the crock sticks, and it was like a razor. First experience of a Santoku knife, and I was impressed. Not sure if this blade is hollow ground, but it's certainly thin - this, together with the sharpness and width slices through tomatoes like they weren't there. The blade guard is a super addition to protect the edge if you keep your knives in a cutlery drawer, and don't hang them up. My only criticism is that the handle slabs are riveted, not riveted and epoxied to the tang - on the underside of my knife's handle there is a small but visible gap between one slab and the tang. But at this price point I don't expect perfection. For the money, it's an excellent knife.

I loved using this knife as soon as i received it. Found it extremely sharp and comfortable to hold and made chopping really easy. For the amount paid for it, I was quite surprised. A few points on improvement, personal preference is for the knife to be abit heavier, feel this could help with cutting some tougher items in the future. Secondly, the plastic cover that comes with it might be safer if the entrance slot expanded to reduce chances of missing and causing an accident.

This knife feels nice and comfortable in my hand. It is super sharp and glides through root vegetables and meat with ease. I have had the knife for a few months and sharpened it occasionally, the blade is still perfect, no burs or blemishes on the cutting edge. My brother tried the knife in my kitchen and ordered one the same day. He loves his knife too.

It sits well in my hand and is nicely balanced either for chopping or slicing. Love it's sharp edge. But, I have only had the knife a few weeks. It was bought to be a long term useful tool, I pray it lives up to that expectation. So far so good.
