Okay so the package came damaged but the pens were not so all is well. These are great for beginners in calligraphy like myself because of the small tip size. I added a picture of the stabilo compared to the Tombow tip. These are on the expensive side as well but if you’re trying to get better and are not handling a big tip well such as the Tombow I highly recommend trying these or the edding 1340. the ending is cheaper but the stabilo has a great color range. I kind of wish they made more than a 30 pack because they’re so nice. There’s a lot of blues and greens but not enough pinks and purples. I don’t see these drying out especially with the caps because they are such great quality.

These markers started out great, but several colors dry out quickly. I ordered another set thinking I may have just got a defective set and the same colors dried out as well.

The 30 colours are really all-encompassing. None of them feel like duplicates or even watered down versions of the other colours. They're all individual and gorgeous hues! The nib is spring and flexes and goes back without bending. The colours are sooo juicy! Use a coated paper (like tomoe river paper) for best effects! I highly recommend giving these a try whether you're a novice or a pro letterer!

Mein neues Hobby ist Handlettering und dafür wurden mir die Stabilo Pen 68 brush in einem Online Kurs empfohlen. Sie eigenen sich für Letterings in mittlerer Strichstärke und wie man hoffentlich auf dem Foto erkennen kann, lässt sich die Strichbreite gut von filigran bis ausdrucksstark variieren. In der Packung mit 30 Stück sind alle Farben, die es in dieser Version gibt, enthalten. Ergänzend dazu führt STABILO auch Stifte mit anderen Strichstärken, von denen jedoch mehr Farbauswahl erhältlich ist. Ich erwähne das hier, weil es toll ist, dass die Farben immer die gleiche Farbnummer aufgedruckt haben, egal ob Fineliner, Brushpen oder Filzstift. Für mein Bild auf dem Foto habe ich zum Beispiel die Kugel mit dem Brushpen und die Nase mit dem Point Fineliner gezeichnet und die Farben passen genau zu einander. Beim Handlettering lassen sich so tolle Kontraste oder Übergänge mit den Farben erstellen und feine Umrandungen um breite Buchstaben erstellen. So sind unzählige Möglichkeiten für eigene Designs und Farbzusammenstellungen umsetzbar. Der Fantasie sind keine Grenzen gesetzt und es macht viel Spaß mit den Stiften kreativ zu sein. Der ARTY Premium Filzstift mit der Pinselspitze für variable Strichstärken ist zusätzlich noch aquarellbar, was mich besonders freut, lassen sich so noch viele weitere Projekte damit malen. Das Bild ist auf Mixed Media Papier gemalt und war zum Ausprobieren der Farben und des Aquarellverhalten gedacht. Mich fasziniert es immer wieder, wenn Wasser auf Aquarellstiftlinien trifft und wunderschöne Farbverläufe entstehen. Mit diesen Stiften lässt sich viel zaubern und ich kann sie mir auch sehr gut als Mitbringsel oder Geschenk vorstellen. Die Farbabgabe ist top, das Schreib- und Malverhalten macht richtig viel Spaß und die Farben sind leuchtend und durch die Aquarelliermöglichkeit flexibel.
