I have had this item for years and love it! I have several dietary restrictions so I use this almost every day. The evening before, I fill the inner container with leftovers to take to lunch the next day. The next day, I plug it in as soon as I get to work (7:00 AM) and it is ready to eat when I need it (but at least an hour later). I’m a special education teacher so I don’t have 1 long lunch time, but have to eat during small times throughout the day. I leave it plugged in all day and eat when I am able. The food does not burn and is hot all day. I’ve purchased one other lunch- warmer product, and the food all burned within an hour of plugging it in. This crock pot product is my favorite! I purchased a second crock pot warmer only because I needed the inner container (I lost the lid for my original one). But that works well because then I leave 1 warmer at home to use on the weekends and 1 at work. I do wish it was possible to buy the inside container and lid separately. Though, a tip, if you lose the lid you can just use aluminum foil. After at least 5 years, the warmer lot won’t screw on anymore so I will purchase another for that reason, but even with the lid not screwing on, it still warms my food just fine.

I bought this for the holiday party season and I’m so glad I did. The engineering is wonderful. The cord storage is great, it is super easy to clean and the two lids make keeping leftovers in fridge terrific. I have not used it to pack and warm to go lunch but it is wonderful for party cheese dip, chocolate dip and even warm salsa. Really great design. Yes you have to keep an eye on things warming too long and hot but I haven’t had any problems with burning. If it had a temperature control it would be absolutely perfect!! Great purchase, great product.

This is a brilliant little invention. I cannot tell you how much I love this thing. No more waiting in line for the microwave in the breakroom at lunch time. Turn this baby on when I arrive and lunch it piping hot by noon. Cleans up really easily, I've never had anything stick too badly, even after heating it up numerous times. For me, the "max" line is a bit much food, but my sister (who owns one also) says it's not enough for her, so people with big appetites might find it a bit small. Also, if you are carrying soup or other very wet items, be careful of the top lid of the metal insert, it doesn't have a super tight seal, and sometimes if it gets tipped over, it'll spill.

This is a great option! Honestly the perfect size to be a carry on for any on the go meal. It isn’t bulky but still holds a good portion. It heats up very well, cleaning has been easy and it’s reliable. I use it every day and have zero complaints. I did see many other options for heated lunch box. This one however, was a brand I trusted! I saw how many great reviews it had and I agree with them 100%
