Was good and strong just what we needed for the job we were using it for

I bought this fishing line a few days before Halloween to hang decorations for a party so they looked like they were floating. It worked perfectly for that. The line is strong and almost invisible in low light which gave a great effect at night and held everything securely in place. The only small downside is that the spool could do with a better way to hold the end of the line when storing it as it tends to uncoil a bit. Apart from that it’s excellent value and a handy item to have for both crafts and general use. You'll see from my the great effect it gave for the coating candles in the roof of the marquee.

It's nice and tough, don't know if it's good fishing line but it was great for my wee job.

Bought to attach plants to driftwood for an axolotl tank, worked perfectly - strong and easy to use.

Undone the outer shrink wrap and found 3 ends all of which instantly started unravelling. I tried to decant it onto another reel. I managed to get approximately 5 meters and it came to an end. Apart from that it's OK but I don't know if I got the dodgy one or if this is a regular occurrences but as I wanted it for hanging decorations I was not too annoyed about it. It's a fine line with good strength but unable to say if it would be any good as a fishing line.

I bought this 0.4 mm clear monofilament mainly for general use rather than fishing, including small DIY and craft jobs where a strong but discreet line is useful. It’s surprisingly strong for the thickness and holds tension well without snapping or stretching excessively. The clear finish makes it unobtrusive, which is ideal for hanging items or light-duty fixing where you don’t want the line to stand out. The spool is generous, and the line feeds cleanly without tangling. Nothing fancy, but it does what it’s meant to do and feels reliable in use. Overall, good quality monofilament line that’s useful for a range of tasks, not just fishing.
