I got good results with this cream. it absorbs quickly and it is easy to apply to my face and absorbed quickly. I noticed how smooth my face looked the next couple of days.

I bought several of the minimalist products in hopes they would work well and not wanting to over pay for face products anymore. I love the way it leaves my face feeling!

The Minimalist brand is new to me. I was intrigued by the formulations & low price point, which remind me of The Ordinary & Inkey List, two affordable brands with many products I find to be effective. I'm very experienced when it comes to retinol/retinal/retinaldihyde. I've used Tretinoin off & on for the past 5 years but it's been a minute. My goal is to start Tret again but bc it's been a while I felt it would be a good idea to start reintroducing my skin in order to avoid destroying my moisture barrier while reaping the anti-aging benefits that these products provide. The Minimalist 2% Retinoid Anti-Aging Night Emulsion has a much thinner texture than I expected but I definitely appreciate it as you only need 1 or 2 pumps for the face & neck. Zero fragrance, non-comedogenic (won't clog pores), & dermatologically tested. Smooth application, absorbs nicely, without that greasy, or tacky feeling left behind, & it layers well with other products (no pilling). The product is housed in a tube with a pump, which may, or may not, be air tight (better than a jar, dropper, or squeeze tube imo) & the product dispenses easily. I've only been using this emulsion every other night for about 3 weeks (with the Minimalist Retinal eye cream) & I really like it! It's not Tretinoin, which is the gold standard, but it's definitely a quality product, perfect for a Retinoid newbie, or someone more experienced like myself who's restarting their anti-aging journey. Highly recommended!

I would highly highly recommend this product! I've been on a mission to try and have a solid skin care routine. I've tried different products but this one is one of my subscriptions. At first I would definitely recommend to using it every few days at first so your skin can get used to it. You may get some peeling but once you're used to it you can switch to every night. I'm obsessed. I have definitely noticed a difference in my 11's and forehead lines. My friends don't think I look my age and I owe it to this magic in a bottle. I do wish it was a bigger bottle but for the price it's perfect. There is no smell which is nice.

This is not as high quality as Neutrogena’s version. Very thin and watery. I can’t see much impact on my skin.

Learned about this product from Dr. Vanita Rattan who specializes in skin of color. This product has tightened and brightened my skin. I use it at night and I love the look of my skin when I wake up. I also feel like I can go about my day with less makeup. I love this product and definitely recommend it.

So I've been using this for about a week and I actually recommend this to anyone who is looking for a retinol! The texture is lotion like, unlike others I didn't really get a scent off it. It's not entirely moisturizing so just be sure to top it off with a nice face cream/lotion.
