Very easy installation! The only thing that was difficult was finding my motorcycles wiring diagram but the gauge installation was very accurate and straightforward. We've had this for three months and it's still going strong. It's even gotten rained on. Has a lot of cool features and is accurate. We have this on a Grom clone Chinese bike.

For the price you get a lot. The wiring diagram wasn't amazing but it was easy enough to figure out and re-pin after tracing the wires from my old cluster. I picked up different magnets for the speedo (8 of them) and it works great. Only issue I've been having is if I hit a big bump it will kind of restart, but that's more likely an issue with my bike. There's no temp gauge, just a warning light which I was a little bummed about but there's nothing "wrong" with it not having a gauge. Love the tach. gas guage doesn't work either but thats because my meter in the tank reads resistance the wrong way, so the gauge thinks I'm empty when its full and full when it's empty, no biggie. Would recommend.

Installed on a 1986 Honda VF500F: Tach jumps all over the place even when set to correct reading. Speedometer is slower to respond than my GPS unit. And IT reads erratic speeds more often than not. The temp light comes on when the engine temp is COLD. Goes off if I unplug the temp sensor so that is useless. The LCD display can only be seen if the unit is laying almost flat down with no way to adjust it. The fuel level blinks no mater what I set it on because my bike has no fuel tank sending unit. Overall NOOOOOOOT happy with this unit, but because I ordered it at the beginning of the bike build, now that I have finally installed it, it is beyond its available for return date. Go figure! So I am stuck with this till I get a GOOD replacement one and throw this $45 in the trash. Just more money waisted. OH, and ALSO, the 3 mounting tabs that mount the display to the provided mounting bracket, ALL 3 broke off the cheap plastic housing! And I have ridden the bike LITERALY ONE mile since the install! JUNK! I have professionally worked on everything from a $60 weed trimmer to a $240,000 combine. I have 2 decades of mechanic experience, cars, trucks, farm equipment, small engines, motorcycles, just dang near anything with an ICE. So it is not like I am some newb with a pair of pliers and some duct tape. I am a certified mechanic! Don't do it anymore cause I am semi-retired.

I have an older version of this unit purchased about 5 years ago and just purchased this one. It is not a difficult install if you are experienced with this sort of thing but it will be a challenge for a newbie. The only complaint I have with the unit is that the Tach is not accurate. My old one on my other bike is accurate but this one is off by about 25% off idle. I even sent it back hoping it was a miscalibrated unit, but the replacement came and that one does the same thing. Both are installed on a 1 cylinder bike so not sure why one works perfectly and the other does not, but I can also say that the buttons and unit function is slightly different between the two. I would not recommend it based on this. I'd like to buy another of the old one if I could.
