I used these in two different places. In one they cleared the ants in the same day, in the other it took the full ten days, I have no idea why. They do appear to be well made.

Good product

Difficult to open containers. On had leaked either in transit or in the warehouse so seemed to contain very little of the liquid it should. Disposal of unused containers will require a visit to the local council tip for hazardous waste according to the packaging. Does it work? At present I don't know as I've just received it. Edit: I should read the box first! The tabs are removed not the lid. Rest of review stands.

We normally use “ant stop” on the rare occasion ants breach security. I went to order some but the high price made me look at alternatives. Took a punt on this as I recall the Nippon gel tubes from the 90’s working well and reviews seemed largely ok. The ants were black and particularly fast ones and had been present indoors for 2 or 3 days before the item was delivered (bank hol wknd). By this time they had a very clear line of transit to a certain cupboard. Behold a squeezy syrup bottle and a nearby gathering of 50 or so too “full to move” ants. Bottle washed of residual lid stickiness and repositioned in same cupboard. Nippon product primed and placed next to bottle. Ants investigated within a few mins. An hour later the transit line was greater (some areas of dual carriageway had been created) so I busted open a second baiter which I placed on the worktop near the ant highway. Forgot all about it by the evening. This morning I remembered and opened the cupboard. Not an ant in sight. Same with the route they’d been travelling and the random areas they’d initially been scouting.EpilogueThe ants were now all gone. It’s now safe to leave a few crumbs on the side without incurring spousal wrath. We can rest again. Unless they are just regrouping… with reinforcements….

This is a terrible product. In my view the company needs to pull it from sales. Doesn't work. Save your money. I have placed three bait stations on one garden flagstone and all the ants do is walk around the edges of the product with no interest of the bait inside. I would recommend the companies spray pesticide but cannot say the same for their bait stations. I will not be buying again.

We have these around the garden and they do keep the ants at bay. The only downside is them being slightly hard to open but once they are they do the job!
