It Gets The Job Done
It does what I bought it to do, but I have to really angle it down in there & wait a few seconds for things to ignite. Some reviews say their lighters make a loud noise but mine just makes a quiet sizzling sound. Its use does not bother me or my pet. I bought this lighter because I am tired of fumbling around with messy butane refills. I expected the ignition arc to be a little bigger & to protrude out a little farther as per the ad, but it does not & the photos are misleading. That is where they lost 1 Star. It also needs a longer USB cord than what they provide. Did they think people would be unwilling to pay for a few more inches of cord? Overall, it's useful but the design needs some work.

420 approved with an exception
The media could not be loaded. In case you're looking that at this and wondering what I was wondering--yes, it will light your bong. But it will only light a tiny dot at a time, which I personally prefer since it makes for more green hits per bowl and fewer ash hits. Try it. I think you like it.(Note: Everything in this video is legal in the state in which it was filmed, including but not limited to the Pocahontas movie streaming in the background)

Great
I love this lighter and it’s also good if you’re out in the wilderness and you need to make a fire. It works in wind.

Handy, better than a traditional lighter, wish it were USB-C with a decently sized cable.
This arrived in a paperboard backed blister pack with the lighter & a (practically useless) USB to USB mini charging cable. Like all packaging of this type, it was a pain to get out.I stand by my opinion that any charging cord under 3' is too short to be usable. Also, I don't know of anything else that uses USB mini ports anymore, so finding a usable charging cord for this was a pain in the rear as well. The lighter itself is lovely. Sleek, has a nice array of colors to choose from, & the rose gold color that I picked looks great. It has 5 small dots on it that light up, showing you the battery level in 20% increments so you can always make sure it's good to go when you need it. I like that I don't have to deal with butane to be able to create fire anymore. This is slim enough to fit in my purse, a pocket, a suitcase/bag/duffle, or a drawer & both slim AND attractive enough to just keep out on the surface next to my candles.I've successfully used this to light candles of various sizes (from tea lights to big jar candles that are almost gone), a gas stove burner with a wonky pilot light, & kindling for a campfire. I've had no problems with wind, but, admittedly, it hasn't been very windy lately, staying under 15mph.This one I keep in my purse, but I'll be buying more of them (despite the USB mini issue) to keep around the house & to pack in my camping gear.

Needs improvements
Not so good. If this was advertised as just a regular lighter and not a candle lighter, then my review would be different. However, this is supposed to be a candle lighter. As a candle lighter, this needs plenty of improvements. It needs to be longer. It is too short unless you only use it on tea candles or shallow candles where the wick is easily reached and exposed. Once you try to use this lighter on a medium or deep candle wick, it's going to be very difficult. The arc flame does not protrude out enough to get a good light on the wick. And because of the shorter length, if you reach this lighter into a deep candle jar, or any jar taller than 5 inches, it is difficult to angle the lighter enough so that the wick ignites. And the little black ignition toggle switch is located pretty close to where the arc flame sits, so your hand will need clearance into the candle jar along with this lighter, so you have lots of 'stuff' to fit into the jar in order to light the wick. Keep that in mind. If the ignition toggle on/off switch thingy was located more at the opposite end of the lighter, it would solve this problem. Think of the disposable candle lighters -- the ignition switch/button is located closer to the bottom (away from the flame end) near the handle -- whereas with this lighter, the ignition switch is located closer to the flame end. Not a good engineering decision. And the arc flame needs to be a bit stronger and wider. I often have to hold the arc onto a candle wick for about 10 or more seconds before it finally ignites the wick. Also the battery life could be better. Seems it needs to be recharged too often. I like the color and the feel of it, but needs improvements. Gave it 3 stars because it works pretty good to light shallow candles and many other 'things' just does not do a good job of lighting most candles that we own -- basically any medium to large size candle jars.
