Olivia Garden Ceramic + Ion Speed XL - Extra-Long Round Thermal Hair Brush - Not Electrical - Professional Blowout Brush for Normal to Thick Hair

I have very long medium hair so it’s hard to find a brush that can handle blowing out all that hair easily. I am so glad I purchased this brush. My blow dry time is less than 15 minutes, for hair that goes all the at down my back, and it looks great from just trying to DRY the hair, let alone style it. The bristles don’t really hurt, and they capture all my hair easily. A 10/10 quality brush!

I love the longer barrel of this brush. With longer hair, it works great for blow drying and smoothing. The bristles feel nice on the scalp. This brand of brush is well-made and I own several sizes but the XL is my favorite..

Amazing brush. Long bristles and barrel made it easy to blow dry and also cut my dry time from 30 to 20 minutes. This brush also made my typical dull hair super shiny. A must buy! I am buying a second one.

It’s a great brush I like that. The length of the brush is longer, so it is so much easier to style the hair. I have the same brush and a shorter barrel. Game changer.

SAFETY ISSUE!! This is a great brush. It got my thick, kinky, curly, frizz-prone hair sleek and straight. However, there is a serious design flaw in that the end of the barrel at the top of the brush is a large round conductive metal disk. On my first use, I touched the end of the barrel to my neck while drying my hair and got a wicked burn on my neck. With my powerful hairdryer, this brush got super HOT! I was able to greatly reduce the burning potential of the brush by covering the end with moleskin. Please cover the end with moleskin before using this brush with a hairdryer. Particularly if you intend to use it on a child! I’m hopeful that Olivia Garden will fix this dangerous design flaw soon. In the meantime, I will use it only with moleskin covering the end.

I bought this as my Aveda hairstylist used it on my hair for my last blowout. She is consistently voted top hairstylist in our county each year (she's amazing). I would NEVER normally spend this much on a brush, but first time using it thought it was worth every single penny. It made blow drying my hair exponentially easier. Faster, holds hair so well (and a lot more of it at a time), smooth finish. *I have fine hair that is mid back length. It felt more manageable to me than ever before to attempt a Well done blowout. For reference, I have three other barrel type brushes and a flat blow drying brush. This one is just fantastic: faster drying time, holds the hair (larger sections at a time) easily and very well without tangling too.

My GF loves this brush. It’s big and she has very thick hair so it’s helps her finish styling quicker. Also feels like it doesn’t burn her hair when using the blow dryer.
