Hello ! Greetings from Vismiintrend..! No this bag would not support 14.5 inch laptop . 13.5 inch HP X360, Macbook air 13 is what can fit in well in this backpack.

I think it is not completely that way but the leather helpsbit in many ways so as far as i carry the bag while raining it didn't enter inside.
