Gift for Mom, great feedback
My mom LOVES Ziggy, so for Mother's day I picked this up for her. She loves it and really enjoyed reading through these old comics again. She has it on a shelf on display as part of a decoration now. The book itself looks nice as well. My mom was glad I bought it.

Everything I expected and more
My family and I love Ziggy. This book is a great little coffee table item and brings a smile to your face, no matter what page you open to. It was a great option for gift-giving.

Ziggy's Middle-Aged?!
2011 is the 40th Anniversary of the comic strip "Ziggy". I'm an avid comics reader and I've always had a sentimental interest in the short, bald-headed man with the big nose because he reminds me of my favorite comic strip character of all time (Charlie Brown) and my Dad (who had a large nose). Like good old Chuck from "Peanuts", Ziggy often finds himself in a bad situation. He tries to keep a positive outlook about things, but so much seems to go wrong. Though the strip is now 40-years-old and drawn by the son of the original artist, it remains relevant because even though he's a comic strip character, the things Ziggy experiences are the things that all of us go through.ZIGGY is a collection of strips from Tom Wilson (II - even though he's dropped the two now that Dad's not around). The book is divided into decades: 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. There's definitely more strips from the 2000s than any of the other decades. One reason for this is because there's an extra year included (2010 is included). Another reason is that particularly in the 1970s and 1980s, "Ziggy" made a lot of cultural allusions that just aren't relevant or as humorous anymore. Some of my favorite strips in the book include the one with a penguin sitting on the perch of a bird house, Ziggy reading THE CANTERBURY TALES, and the one where Ziggy talks about eating 7 happy meals. This book is a good gift for anyone who is a fan of "Ziggy". It's a good introductory primer for people who are unfamiliar with the comic strip. It also makes a good gift book for someone who has been down and needs some cheering up.
