Tetra Whisper IQ Power Filter 20 Gallons, 130 GPH, with Stay Clean Technology

I have been using this filter for months, and it is amazing. Cleans and filters my water perfectly. It is easy to clean and has good studiness. It isn't loud and worth the money. The cleaning power is great for the price. Has a good calming effect and builds sturdy.

I bought two as secondary power filters to assist my main 120-gallon filter. I was concerned about noise, but they're surprisingly quiet. I would definitely recommend the WHISPER IQ line. They were easy to set up and worked perfectly right out of the box.

This is my second Tetra IQ filter. My first one lasted about ten years and is still running strong on my 55‑gallon tank. Recently it started making a light clicking noise, cleaning helped, but I took it as a sign that it was time for an upgrade. This new version is even better. The redesigned cover prevents splatter and stops calcium from building up on the lid, and it runs noticeably quieter than the older model. I like it so much that I’m ordering a second one for the other side of the tank. I keep African Mbunas, and they’re a messy bunch, so strong, reliable filtration is a must. This filter definitely delivers.

My tank is taller than an average 40 gallon tank so this just barely works for my fish tank struggled to get it together and working, but I’ve had no issues since installing. It works pretty well so far.

I have only had mine a few days, and one of them for even less time than that, but the water flow compared to my old ones is fabulous. They are so quiet! And they make such nice water sounds. My bristlenose plecos love a strong flow and lots of bubbles, and these Tetras provide both. I have two of these filters on my 56 gallon planted tank, minus the included carbon filters (I use mesh). I really hope these last a while; they are superior so far. Update: Been using two of these filters for 3-4 weeks now and they are amazing. The intakes have the strongest pull I have ever seen, and the filters are still so blissfully quiet, providing the beautiful trickling water sounds of a creek or stream. AND THEY ARE SO EASY TO CLEAN!

Filter quality is excellent, looks good when installed, perfect for my 10 gal tank, good size, very calm and silent. Reducing my span of cleaning. Monies worth.

I love my whisper filter! Not because of the amazing job it does. I was finally able to throw away my air pump & sponge filter. I switched to sponge because I am cheap. I forgot what it's like to not have an angry beehive in my room. It's been years since I've had quiet. I will never go back to a sponge filter. I can hear when my pets are into something in the living room and can stop whatever they were doing. When I bought replacement filters my Ai said I could not adjust the flow rate of water and would have to craft a baffle for my 30gallon whisper IQ. YOU CAN CAN ADJUST THE FLOW RATE! If your Ai says different......just don't ask it lol. It's a great machine.

It’s very quiet but can make a bit of vibrational noise if the cover is misaligned. No big deal. You can just readjust it. Maintenance is very simple. The siphon self starts after you power it up, so there’s no need to fill it with water beforehand. There’s also plenty of room in the canister for media of your choice. The water flow is strong initially, after a filter media change, but after a few weeks of use, it tends to slow down to a near drip, especially if you have a lot of sponges, floss or carbon in there. Its main drawback, imo, is its size. It’s bulky. I have it hanging on the back of a tiny 5 gallon nano tank and it looks a little out of place in relation to the small tank. Otherwise, decent HOB filter for small aquariums, at a very low price .

Best filter I have bought in decades, provided it endures. The flow control was tricky, the difference between trickle and waterfall is a tiny move of the dial, but just having flow control is the main point. It's VERY quiet. I hear the trickle of water, not the filter. The filters themselves are sold as kits you can make for very cheap. The flow control/suction goes pretty fast, i suspect you could use this for a 50G freshwater tank in a pinch.

Lo utilizo en una pecera de 40L, así que me queda super sobrado. Mega silencioso, poco ruido, poca vibración. Casi no se nota que está. Recomendada 👍🏻

Comparado con otros filtros del mismo tamaño, mueve un buen volumen de agua con muy poco ruido, funciona de nuevo si se va la luz. Muy buena calidad y recomendable.
