Simple quality silverware. Purchased the silver, not gold, version. We've had a set for about 16 years and wanted another matching set for when we entertain larger groups. This order fit the bill perfectly. We appreciate the simple style and the "heavier" more durable feeling weight to the silverware. They've been through the dishwasher multiple times with no issues.

I had this Hampton Bamboo style silverware over 10 years ago! I was down to only having a small and large spoon. Not that any of the rest of the set had any defects, they were just misplaced! I searched all over the internet for this set and could not find it ANYWHERE! This set is SO HARD TO FIND! Once again my favorite company came through with flying colors as always AMAZON my first choice ALWAYS!! I loved this set so much and was in shock to see AMAZON had it! I did not hesitate to get my order in but fast. Once you want a purchase from AMAZON don't hesitate because they can be sold out go for it fast. I noticed in the reviews people had problems with rusting! This can't be I've left my silverware in water soaking overnight and the brilliant shine was still there! This set is BEAUTIFUL and I am stunned that it's the exact silverware I had over 10 years ago. What a PERFECT match and the stainless steel shine is a real beauty SO EXCEPTIONAL!! Lovely throwback design, perfect weight, not light at all.Aafter reading reviews, some suggesting light weight or flimsy, I ordered one set and not finding that at all, I am back today to order the second set now, knowing that I am keeping this flatware. They are so reminiscent of the 70's bamboo design cutlery - less definition at the bamboo joints than the old stuff I recall from when I was a kid but just so close and really just love the look and quality.

So happy I found these on amazon. This is my everyday flatware. I have been wanting to add to my flatware collection for years. I was beginning to believe I would need to change out they style and use this pattern for a backup. Now that I have purchased a second set we do not have to mix and match. Love this style! Each piece is rounded and heavy. I like that they are not flat handles, fits in your hand nice and they easy to use. As for as sturdiness and durability, I have had the first set for at least 15years and they strong with no imperfections, they all are still shiny and not flimsy at all.

I see reviews regarding a rust issue. I bought mine in December 2021 and only came back to buy another set because I keep losing pieces. But there have been zero signs of rust. The only issue is a me issue.

We purchased two of these sets to replace some cheaper flatware in our AirBnb. The set has some nice weight that gives it a luxurious, high end feel. I hope this makes sense to someone, but you wouldn't miss this flatware if you never used/saw them but they are absolutely something you'd notice when you see/use them...it's a detail thing. We store ours in a flatware caddy so this doesn't bug us -- but this little nugget of info might be important to some -- the design prevents the flatware from stacking neatly on top of itself in your drawer. We wish there were matching serving fork/spoons and long handle teaspoons available! Wash nicely in dishwasher.

I bought these many, many years ago. We use them every day. I LOVE the look -- they look fabulous in a home with "Asian-style" decor. They are heavy and seem like they are good quality. I think that you are not supposed to put them in the dishwasher (but who lives in that world???). We have always put them in the dishwasher, and they get brown spots on them (especially the knives) that don't go away. I have tried various polishes to make the spots disappear (and they do disappear temporarily)-- but who has time for polishing silverware these days? Overall, I still love them despite the brown the spots!

I've been looking for a faux bamboo pattern silverware set, and this is a nice one! PROS: Nice faux bamboo pattern. I like the size and weight. Excellent price; I purchased 3 sets of twenty for under $100. Beautiful mirror finish. Will compliment many styles, and I love chinoiserie. CONS: I do love an oversized utensil, although smaller than I would have loved, this one is just big enough for my taste. My husband would probably like a thicker handle on the knife, but that's not a deal-breaker. Many reviews claim the silverware will rust, and I simply won't put it in the dishwasher. I have formal sets that I won't put in the dishwasher either, so no big deal for me.

Love these! Bought the same 10 years ago and over the years a few have found other homes, ordered 2 new sets and I love how the handles are slightly thinner now, fit better in the dishwasher basket!

I picked up an 8-person set of these from TJ Maxx in the US around 20 years ago. I absolutely loved them, because they’re ultra sturdy, just the right size spoons, and don’t bend AT ALL. I want to reiterate that last part, because I’ve never had another cutlery set that was so absolutely perfectly solid. Over the years, pieces disappeared, and I ultimately had to replace the set, stuffing the last remaining pieces in a drawer. It was so disappointing, because no other cutlery set compared to the sturdiness of these or the wonderfully funky style. I was so happy when I finally figured out the appropriate key words to search and find this set again, and I’ve now replaced all of my cutlery. I’ll never buy another set but these.

The only thing I did not like was that the forks were so thin. You can't get a lot on them, would have been nice if they were a bit wider. Rather expensive too, but they were the only stainless steel I could find with a bamboo design. So I'm happy with them.
