Vitamix 36019 36019-1 Vita-Mix Quiet One Blender 48 oz, Black

This is an excellent buy. I was afraid the blender wouldn’t be the right one, with the wrong electric current and the wrong plug for Scotland (U.S. American company). So I wrote the seller to ask (and after I had already ordered), being afraid that I had made a very bad and expensive mistake. The seller answers immediately, even within minutes, and reassured me that the blender would be equipped up to proper code for the U.K. and Scotland. This small company is also located in London. So no worries. This place obviously knows what they are doing because they sent the right item. Even though refurbished, it works like new and was half the price! The blender works perfectly, does whatever you need blended and done efficiently, even without all the snick-snack and various containers that the other models the Vitamix company offers. You can’t get this machine anywhere for your home (that I know of!), it’s industrial quality (used commercially in cafés and restaurants!) But the reason why it’s all so worthwhile with this blender, is because it’s the quietest of all the Vitamix blenders – maybe even the quietest of all the most powerful blenders in the world, and offers only what you need in a small compact version, not taking up your whole kitchen. It’s a big, powerful grand machine that mixes, grinds, purées and blends anything and everything, and for which Vitamix is famous the world over! However this “quiet” one is the best because it’s not as loud as all the others, while still doing its job. As you can tell, I’m very enthusiastic about this product.

I no longer need to go to a juice bar. The money that it is saving me will pay for itself in less than 6 months. Powerful, quiet, and unobtrusive.

Everyone in my family loves to make smoothies. Given the lockdown we are making smoothies sometimes all day from early morning to late at night. The ear splitting noise and low power of our old blender was causing all kinds of headaches, real and metaphorical. We finally decided to splurge for a a new blender. After much research and debate we settled on the Vita-Mix Quiet One. It’s everything we had hoped - more than powerful for even the most challenging smoothies that include frozen fruit (great when you can’t easily get fresh produce), peanut butter and ice. They blend perfectly and quickly. It’s indeed quiet. The cone of silence that you lower over the pitcher before blending actually works. Not perfectly of course. Don’t try to put your baby to sleep and then make a strawberry banana daiquiri. But compared to our old blender - which was pretty high quality - it’s significantly quieter. No one complains anymore. And because blending time is so much shorter it’s that much more tolerable. Finally the blender’s plastic pitcher is light and easy to pour. The handle is balanced and it’s easy to hold. The lid slides on and off easily and is easily placed into and removed from the blender base. There are preprogrammed blender buttons for different times and speeds. They are easy to use and understand. Finally, the blender is easy to clean. You can put it in the dishwasher but we use it so often we usually just clean it by hand.

I am in love with this blender! The quiet operation was a welcome surprise—no more deafening roar. It's so easy to operate that anyone in the family can use it. And the texture? Just perfect. It pulverizes everything into a perfectly smooth, dreamy consistency. I've never had a better smoothie from a home machine. Five stars!
